The villain in most of my stories serves several purposes. My first was Victor. Everybody has dark sides and their better sides. It's my belief that understanding the dark sides is just important as understanding the better. This I feel puts readers more in touch with themselves and others. Victor appears in a series of stories. He begins as a cold hedonistic killer, becomes sadistic, and then becomes more kind when he kills. Because he requires blood to satisfy his needs, he feels he has no choice but to kill. He becomes a philanthropist and discovers a way to have living blood without turning his suppliers nor killing them.1
