I stared at the outfit that laid on the bed and the note that was in my hand. My heart was beating like there was no tomorrow and I couldn't seem to breath. The note held one word.1

Tonight2

It was written in the familiar handwriting that belonged to Tyler. I had been told to meet him out in the garden at six o'clock for dinner. Looking at the clock I could see it was 5 and I should start getting ready. I started with a shower and washed my body with coconut smelling body wash. My hair had grown allot since I had been here so it took a while for me to wash it. I shaved my legs then stepped out of the shower into a wall of steam. I reached blindly for my towel and slipped it around me. I cracked open the door a bit and watched the steam invade the space of the bedroom leaving the bathroom clear for me to see what I was doing. I looked in the mirror and ran a brush through my hair before blow drying and straightening it. I let it hang loosely down my back to my hips and put on my makeup. I would usually just put on eyeliner and mascara and be done with it but I knew tonight was different so I applied eyes shadow and some lip gloss.3

Walking into the room I picked up the dress and looked at it. It was purple and simple. I slipped it on and looked at myself. The dress showed off my curves and came about mid thigh. It had off the shoulder straps and a thin belt around my hips. I grabbed dimand stud earrings, white bangles, my love ring and a neck less that Tyler had given me. I put my hair up in a simple up-do and looked at the time. I had five minutes to get down to the garden. I descended the stairs and walked out side.4

The garden was lit up with a million twinkling lights. The pathway had rose petals scattered over it leading me to my destination. Tyler was dressed in black dress pants and a simple navy blue dress5

shirt, his hair was combed and tamed for now. His face broke into a breathtaking smile when I came into view.6

"Tammy you look stunning tonight" He held out his hand to me. I placed my small hand in his large on and blushed.7

"Thank you Tyler, you don't clean up so bad yourself."8

Tyler smiled and lead me over to a small table set up for two. he food was already out on the plates. Tyler pulled out my chair for me and then sat across from me. 9

"I hope the food is okay, I tried to fallow the cook book as well as I could."10

"You cooked this? I didn't know you could cook."11

"Well I guess we won't find out if I can or not until we try it." Tyler smiled at me.12

I tried a piece of the stake that was on my plate and it melted in my mouth.13

"Tyler this is amazing." I said taking another bite.14

"I'm glad." Tyler said and we lapsed into silence while we ate only making some small talk. 15

After dinner was done Tyler took my hand and we walked through the garden. We needed no light since we could see in the dark. Tylers hand was warm around mine. 16

Like I had for the past few months, I felt safe here with Tyler though I knew who he was and what he wanted.
