I saw her in the corner, when I walked in the bar. The Blue Goose Saloon...a lot of wild times there. I waved the 'tender for a scotch, and she soon complied. God Bless her.
I reached her corner, and whispered my name:
"Frank," I said.
"Eidha", she said.
Whatever~who knows who was telling the truth.
Later on, I met her in the hallway between the bathrooms, and lifted her skirt, and pressed her up against the wall.
God--it doesn't get any better than that.
Then...I heard voices. "Brazos, Brazos, can you hear me!!" And I woke up, to find myself standing on the ledge outside my 70th floor office...I looked to the right, and there was my secretary, Sandy, leaning out through the window I had shattered...she screamed at me, "Brazos, Brazos, get back inside, why are you doing this"? I didn't know, and neither did she...
I reached in my back pocket, and found the flask, and poured a half pint of Thunderbird wine all the way down to my innards, and smiled...
And then, it was almost time to go.
Briefly, I thought of people I would like to kiss good bye,
But they weren't here...do you know why?
And so I clasped my hands, and pointed them to the sky...
And tipped off the ledge of the building...
Do you know why????
Please tell me what you think

Spectacular Read
well told of a man ready to punch his ticket, and he picks a tall building rather then a cliff to jump, and free hisself of the world and heartbreak. You have a natural knack to story telling..this could be novelist material........please keep writing.....your friend, novy
