The Vampires Lair

In a dark cellar, an undead creature paces back and forth impatiently. He craves blood; he is so hungry, that he bites into his own arm drawing his rich dark maroon blood. He removes his fangs from the wound, the bite marks begin to heal almost instantaneously. Then, he remembers that he can find a victim to suck them dry of their precious blood. He is weak, and his brain cries out for the ever sweet taste of warm blood. He can barely move an inch, he is paler than usual, he is going mad! He storms out of the cellar and up the stairs, and into the main entrance of his castle in Slovakia. He grips the doors and flings them open with all his force, he does not notice what he has done, the door hinges make a crunching noise as the pins holding the door in place grind under the extreme pressure. The doors fall at a sixty degree angle, being held together by one hinge on both doors. He rushes outside into the silent foggy night sky with a half-crazed look about his face.

He stops and stares at the moon and lets out a howl. His face begins to become elongated; his hands shrink into paws of a canine with sharp claws jutting from each fingertip. His ears extend to the sky, teeth slide out of his opens jaws, eyes change color and shape, and he falls to his knees as the transformation comes to an end. A wolf now rests where the vampire once stood; the wolf gets up and runs down the hill toward the sleeping village down below his manor.

The wolf enters the village searching for a window to jump through; it passes along the cottages until he notices an open window. (Foolish human, you did not take heed of your elder’s warnings; for that I shall teach you the proper way to go about this.) He walks up to the window and leaps through landing softly on the hard stone floor making barely any noise at all. He advances to the furthest corner, as not to be seen. He hides in the shadows, to be unnoticed if they are awake, for if the light would suddenly go on he would burn in agony. He slowly and silently creeps toward his victim drooling with delight. A young girl rests before him; she has to be in her early twenties. He transforms back and gently pulls the covers away from her neck. He gently pulls her collar down to expose the tender flesh of her neck. He bends over and gently bites, sucking the blood from the open wound. She begins to moan, but not waking, it is the same every time he feeds. When he stops he makes sure that the blood does not drip onto her nice clean sheets or clothing. Suddenly, he hears a noise; the sound of shuffling footsteps fills his ears. He transforms back into a wolf and jumps back out the window, and hurries back up the hill to his home.

In the cellar candles line the walls; the smell of death lingers about the room. Blood stains most of the floors, and in the center, sits his most important treasure, his coffin. (The coffin is a vampire’s safe haven; this is how they protect themselves from daylight. They usually sleep during the day and awaken at night to feed.) He walks to the side of his coffin and transforms back into the creature of the night that he is. He pulls the lid up, and climbs inside, when he is settled in; he closes the lid filling the box with darkness. It is dawn, his time to sleep; until night falls once again. By nightfall he shall arise and feed once again.

Ah, finally something original. I don't think someone has ever before combined a werewolf with a vampire. Very nice!
