Heart Virus

A human heart is thrusted into the office fan, spewing out blood and bits of tissue into the occupants faces. Almost instantaneously they direct their attention to the light fixtures above their heads. They start to feel a burning sensation in their eyes, the tissues begin to melt, they scream in agony as their vision dies. 1

"My eyes, oh my eyes..." howls a large woman screaming her head off placing her hands over her burning eyes. She backs away, not knowing where she's going, a man yells to her to stop, but it's too late, she runs into the large glass window, smashing through it, falling over the edge. The man that's not blinded, runs to the window and looks down. Her body hits the ground with a loud shuddering smack against the warm pavement. People scream at the body that lays before them, blood leaks from her cracked skull.2

Suddenly, the body appears to melt into a dark black ooze, the bone, muscle, skin, everything into the sidewalks cracks, except for her clothes, which remain. He turns around to see black piles of ooze staining the offices floors. "That heart that the gypsy gave me really did have a virus. Now who's laughing" he cries maniacally, backing up to the window.3

He does not turn around, he jumps backwards out the window, the last sound he hears is his maniacal laughter before he hits the pavement.4

The police arrive and are baffled at what they find in the office, piles of black ooze that once were human are stained on the floor, the only things that remain are clothes and jewelry, the only way they could tell that these stains where once living breathing humans like themselves.
