Johnny Lancaster was laying face-down in the kitchen surrounded by an entire pot’s worth of spaghetti noodles. The cooking water was pooling in the corner of the kitchen closest to the back door where there was a slight dip in the floor. Detective Mosely was puzzled until she walked in.
After standing in the room for three and a half hours, this was the answer. She did it.
“Ma’am, what is your name?”
“Charlene…what happened to Johnny?”
“Charlene, you are under arrest for the murder of Johnny Lancaster. You have the right to remain silent…”
“But, what happened to Johnny?!”
