The Figure: Chapter One

You have been sitting down now for so long; and still no one knows of your lonely existence. You have been pained by the deep scars on your cold body from your own torturous scandals. Still creating new ones with your own reckless mind. Every day you feel the warm blood trickle down your skin as you bite down; your jaw presenting the tension of your gaunt body. Your once bright blue eyes have turned to a black so sinister that you yourself could hardly even see if you were to ever look at your reflection.1

You think of the many nights that you have sat in this room doing nothing. Just sitting here on your cold tiled floor against your stone grey wall. No windows, no closet, not a bed to lay on or a desk to write on; just the bare walls, and the ground that has no great significance.2

But as you stare in the darkness right before you; your naked body in shivers, holding your knees close to your heart, you see shadows. Your heart pounds rapidly and you start breathing harder and harder. Your brow begins to sweat; but still you stare intently. The shadows dance about the room. But no noise is pending from it. Only the sound of your own breath; in-hailing and ex-hailing.3

The dark shadows in which you see begin to hue a navy blue. And you still can't figure out how you are beholding these forms of matter when you never have before. You have always been in this dark room; never seeing anything but the darkness.4

Now you see one shadow of light stop right in front of you; a shape begins to form. You realize that it starts to have the appearance of a human-being. The not yet formed body sat down right before you and began to glow a more bright and brilliant blue. You sat there in shock; your eyes being hypnotized by the thing before you. 5

The figure was then complete with its formation of a human; it being that of a woman; naked with the most soft, pale-blue skin you have ever seen. Her body was perfect; her long flowing hair seemed to float all around her, and her eyes that looked like snowflakes from the first snowfall. She just gazed up at you and smiled ever so slightly. A feeling of some unknown force was reminiscing from her body. It wasn't warm or cold, or a mixture of the two. But rather something unknown to this world. However, it was beautiful; the feeling began calming your soul to a peace that was foreign to you. Looking at her, a tear hued blue fell from her face to the ground. It too glowing blue.
