Situation: 1
Humorous, "beautiful," indvidual girl walks into a classroom.2
People have always said she has a glow about her. She lights up the room. You can't help but smile when she smiles. The girl's heart starts thumping in her chest (her favorite part of her body... perhaps the only thing she likes besides her emerald eyes) The thumping is being caused by a cute guy that caught her eye. She gets to know the guy. They laugh together, exchange stories and glances which the oblivious girl took as flirtation. A few days go by, and the courageous girl pulls her strength together. She convinces herself to tell the guy how she feels, after all, her friends think its a great idea. Rejection after rejection plays over in the back of her mind, but she pushes it aside for just a moment. Nothing to lose, right? The words escape her mouth... but... nothing is returned. Yeah, she's always "just a friend." She puts on her "happy face" and tries to pretend. She is drained, but the guy is on to the next girl... who else, but her best friend.3

Just like guys. They flirt with every girl when they get a chance. I like the poem and rejection is always going to be a part of life. Nicly done.
