Hayden pushed herself off of Rachel's bed, bonding onto her own. She slipping under the covers, giving a sad smile to Rachel. "You know I'm sorry, right?" 2

Rachel smiled, "Yah, I know." Hayden laid her head on her pillow. "Hayden?" Rachel asked. 3

"Yah?" Hayden asked sleepily. 4

"Thanks." Rachel whispered, laying on her own bed. She closed her eyes for what seemed like a moment, then a knock came. Her eyes came open and she sat up, looking over at Hayden. She hadn't moved, maybe she had just heard it. Another knock came. "Come in?" The door came open, only it was a weird door. It swung open instead of sliding open. Rachel had learned that the hard way. 5

"Hey," David smiled, taking a seat on the edge of her bed. 6

"Hi," Rachel whispered, rubbing her red eyes. 7

"You know, your brother was really cool." David added quietly. 8

"Of course he was, David. He was my brother." Rachel laughed, remembering her brothers smile. "You know when Mike was younger, he said he wanted to die nobly. He told me that." She stared at the side of David's head, wishing more than anything they weren't in this mess. 9

David didn't say anything, he sat there, staring across the room with a glazed look in his eye. "Are you scared?" He asked suddonly. 11

"Are you scared about this whole thing?" He asked again. 15

"Well, yah. It's terrifying. Aren't you scared?" Rachel furrowed her brow. 17

"No... Well, yes... But not for me." David scratched his head, a confused look written on his face. He turned his head to look at Rachel. 19

Rachel brought her legs up to her chest and she hugged herself. "I don't like Earth." She admitted. "There's too much weight." 21

"I don't like it either." David smiled at Rachel, running a hand through his hair. "I have to watch out for more than just myself now." 23

Rachel didn't say anything when David stood up, staring across the room again, and left quietly. She laid her head on her knees and watched the door, hoping he would come back. 25

"God, I'm glad he's gone. A girl can only fake sleep for so long!" Hayden said, sitting up in her bed and rolling her neck. 27

Rachel shot a look at Hayden before laying in her bed and drifting into sleep. 29
