Shea stood with her hands on her hips, a stern look on her face. She opened her mouth, "I asked you 'Where have you been?' Now answer me." Her lips made a straight line across the width of her face.
Aurelie looked down. She didn't like this female. She hated her with a passion. She bit down hard on her bottom lip and faced the devil woman, "That is none of your business. Tell me, where is my mother?" She wished to be rid of the evil lady with the violet eyes.
The woman gave her a surprised look. She wasn't used to Aurelie talking to her like this.
She took Shea’s hesitation as a sign to leave. She heard the high pitched scream as she walked away from the adviser. She looked down at her hand. It was now a lighter blue. She hurried off to her mothers’ quarters, she hoped she would be there.

He awoke with a start. Where was he? Had he won the race? He sat up quickly, a little too quickly for he had just become rather dizzy. His eyes adjusted to the bright light and he took in the badly painted walls. He took in a deep breath. He could smell death. Why was he here? “Hello?” he waited patiently for somebody to answer him.
He could hear laughter from down the hall. He wished he could get up from his very uncomfortable bed, but being attached to wires held him from it.
“Awake are we?” a soft voice spoke from the doorway. “You seem to be doing ok,” she had a constant smile on her face, it was annoying him, “My name is Ali, I’ll be your nurse until you are ready to leave this place.” She giggled.
He looked at her and watched as she busied herself writing things down and checking the monitors. His eyes began to droop. He fell into a dreamless sleep.

“Mother?” she entered the room timidly and looked around. The room was a mess. She flew over it all and looked about the room for the soon to be queen. She found her in her bathroom sitting in the bathtub, “What are you doing here?” She looked at her mother’s beautiful mahogany hair strewn about the place and then down at her. She was sleeping. An odd place to be sleeping, but then again she was an odd being. Why they chose her to be queen mystified Aurelie.
She prodded the sleeping lady gently and waited for her mother’s gray eyes to open. After what seemed like a million seconds she snorted and opened her lovely eyes. “Hello there my Aurli," She put her cold hand on the smaller females, "you are so pretty, did you know that?" She kept speaking. The way she was going, it sounded like she was going to die or something.
"Uh, mum?" The woman halted her speaking and looked at the small fairy with interest. "Shouldn't you be getting ready for your coronation?"
A look of puzzlement embraced the older winged female's face, "Coronation?" She gasped, "Will there be sweets there?" She stood up, obviously jazzed about the sweets. "What are you waiting for? Get outta my way. I must dress!"
Aurelie stood to the side and watched as her mother hurriedly got dressed. Her eyes looked down at her flesh; it was now back to normal. She had taken care of what needed to be done.
"You are not dressed!" the stern voice belonged to one, Shea.
Aurelie looked up into fiery violet eyes. Obviously Shea was still a little angered over their little talk. She half-smiled and walked out of the room to hers, not looking at the old being.
Dazzling blue and green lights shone from the ceiling. Her carpets were black. She walked to her closet, enjoying the feel of her plush floor between her toes. She thought back to Jole. Would she ever get to see his feet again? She sighed and wished that she hadn't had to of left him when she did. She had enjoyed getting to know his body.
She slipped on a bright yellow dress and flew to the Great Hall. Everybody should be piling in about now. She wondered how her mother was doing.
The murmur of voices echoed throughout the hallways. There must be hundreds of them. She peeked through one of the doors. There were guards placed around the throne where her mother now sat; a crown sat atop her head. Aurelie must have been too slow, she sat down and sighed.
