Saturday mornings are so peaceful-1

the grass blessed by the morning dew,2

teenagers recovering from what the love to do,3

silent on Saturday, 4

because Friday was too loud.5

Half sober and completely silent.6

Friday night was rough,7

so Saturday morning is a catching up, 8

a wake up to reality,9

time to exchange your clothes10

for some that do not have the bon fire and whiskey aroma.11

Time to apologize-12

for Friday was loud, very rough13

didn't make it home last night but14

I somehow got the composure to do so this morning15

grey clouds bring comfort16

As the wet grass soaks 17

the bottoms of liquor stained blue jeans18

and my head 19

cannot seem to be lifted up 20

and my eyes 21

are still struggling with the excess on Friday22
