Recap: Just read the other chapters.1

You woke up in the middle of the night. For some reason, you just couldn't get back to sleep. You forced yourself up and took a shower, putting on a black over-the-shoulder top with lace edges. You also put on a mauve-ish skirt to match. You looked out the window of your new room. You could see the moon perfectly here. Even better than you could before! You don't know how long you spent looking at the moon, but it seemed to wake you up. You opened the window and paused. It didn't seem like any alarm was set for you, in case you did leave.2

You grabbed your bag, making sure you had some of the necessary stuff for a nighttime 'stroll'. When you thought it was safe, you climbed out. It must have been near midnight because the streets were deserted. No one would be outside at midnight. People feared that hour. You crept along the road, making sure that no one would even see you. It's a good thing that you were wearing black. You made sure that you were practically invisible. You turned into the market area. All lights from the surrounding houses were off and the curtains were drawn. You saw that some people left everything out.3

You walked up to one of the stalls that had ceramic flowers. You looked through the flowers until you found one that had your signature colors: black and red. They were together in a rose. You held it in your hand. "Too breakable to put in my bag," you thought. That meant that you had to carry it. All of a sudden, you felt awkward. "I'm being watched," you thought. You just didn't know by whom. If you looked around, whoever it was would be aware that you knew they were there. If you took off running, they could follow. You had to play it cool. You started to reach into your bag, making it look like you were going to put the flower in it.4

Instead, you pulled out a couple of kunai. Small, black, they blended right in without being seen. You carefully put the flower back on the table as you brought out the kunai. You turned around and looked around for anything that was moving. You didn't see anyone until it was too late. Several ninja came down in front of you. You couldn't throw the kunai because a ninja popped out from behind the stall. You felt a cloth go over your nose and mouth. You struggled to get free, but it was no use. Slowly, the surrounding objects became blurry until they faded into nothing.5

*The Ninja Who Grabbed You's POV*6

You eased her to the ground.7

"Well, we got her," said one of your comrades.8

"She's knocked out," another said.9

"Let's take her to Lord Kazekage now," you said. All agreed. You slung her over your shoulder. You carried her all the way to Gaara's office with your teammates following you. One of them knocked on his office door.10

"Come in," he called. They opened the door and you walked in. "Where was she?" he asked.11

"In the main market. She was.....examining some ceramic flowers."12

"Put her on the chair." You did so. "You can go now," he told you.13

"Yes Lord Kazekage," you answered and left.14

*Gaara’s POV*15

She was curled up on the chair, knocked out. "I thought that you said you'd stop stealing," you told her unconscious self. "If only you had listened." You sat down behind your desk and started to work on some papers that never seemed to go away. After an hour, she started to stir.16

"What happened?" she muttered. You looked up at her. She saw you there and flinched. "What's going on? How did I get here?" she asked.17

"I thought I told you not steal anymore."18

*Your POV*19

So he sent those ninja to watch you. "Okay, so you told me. I thought you knew that I don't make promises."20

"But why did you even go?"21

"I couldn't sleep."22

"Try warm milk."23

"Maybe next time. How did you even know I was there?"24

"I put a sensor on your window."25

"I didn't hear anything."26

He smirked. "That's because it was a sand sensor."27

"Why didn't I see that coming?"28

"So what were you picking up tonight?"29

"It was a flower until some goon knocked me out."30

"It was for your own good."31

"You say that now."32

"And I'll say it again. You are going to change your life around." You looked away from him. You didn't want to talk to him anymore, at least not right now.33
