I really like ALL of these. I LOVE dark stories (if they're done right) and all of these bits would make EXCELLENT plots for longer stories.
"Start screaming and I’ll stop helping." in particular. Damn. What in the world could that mean? Why would they stop helping someone who is fighting the urge to scream?
