Act One
Scene One
Setting: Classroom in early winter/late autumn. After school.
Baxter, Morgan, and Sam are ready for a big plan. They decide as a prank that they're going to turn all the pictures upside down on one of the yearbook pages. It takes some convincing to get Sam in on anything. They finally get him to do it and they plan to get it done the next day.
Scene Two
Setting: Next day after school.
Sam eventually leaves the other two to wait in the room alone for an hour as he runs home. The two have never really talked, but hit it off. Morgan accidentally admits she's gay to Baxter. Baxter is surprised and can't cover it well at all when Sam returns. She admits it to Sam who is hurt and insults her. Sam leaves Morgan and Baxter in the room in the end.
Act Two
Scene One
Setting: Sam's garage; a few days later.
First, Baxter and Sam awkwardly meet and leave with nothing much said. Morgan tries to confront Sam, but he blows her off. She leaves upset.
Scene Two
Setting: Football game bleachers; later that night.
Morgan confronts Baxter who is taking pictures at a football game for yearbook. They have a long talk about Sam and everything. As they leave the stands together, they see Sam walking by. They all share a glance and a hello, but Baxter and Morgan agree he isn't the same. Baxter's inner conflict of finding reasoning behind anything is torn in the end as he ultimately accepts Morgan as his friend. Last action is Morgan kissing Baxter on the cheek.
