Ria's and Cobra's story continued.

“Reo, how would you like to go to a friend’s house for awhile?”

“I’d love that! Where is Cobra at?”

“I don’t know. That is why I need you to stay with a friend for awhile. I am going to go look for him.”

“I want to go with you. Cobra is my friend too.”

“No, if you were a warrior like me I would take you with me but you’re not so I can’t take you.”

“Fine, I will go to Reno’s house.”

“Thank you and I will try my best to get back as soon as possible.” After I tell Reo good-bye I pack my traveling bags and go to sleep.

“Ria, When I kissed you I used my power to put a tracer on you. I can only do this with people I have a special bond with. Brio has taken me to an old abandoned castle. My image in your dreams will be blurry till you get closer to the place I am at. I overheard Brio talking about killing me but I will not die without a fight, my love. Just remember I love you.” Cobra said in my dream.

“I’ll be on my way soon, Love. You will not be there long; I might know where you are. He might have taken you to my old home. When I wake up in the morning I will be on my way. Just hold on.”

My past had hit me from the abandoned castle image. I once was the princess of this land until my parents were killed and I decided to go into hiding. I became a warrior for my land. I never told anyone and Reo could barely remember. My powers were for healing and transforming. I could heal any wound and I could transform into anything and if I was holding someone they would transform with me, the reason why Reo and I weren’t killed also.

Early the next morning I woke up and grabbed my sword and bow and arrows and headed to the abandoned castle that I once called home. What Brio and Cobra didn’t know was there was a greater evil in that castle, greater than what Brio liked to think of himself, for the evil that had killed my parents was still lurking there.

“I wonder if I can remember the way to the castle.”

I started walking and then I heard a branch snap behind me. I turned around and saw Ray, another classmate of mine.

“Where are you heading to?” Ray asked.

“Off to save a friend of mine.”

“Could you use a companion on your travel?”

“I would love a companion with me, but it is bad enough that I am skipping school to save him.”

“I won’t be skipping school. I got time off for a vacation.”

“Alright then. We will have to be careful though. The place we are going to has a great evil in it.”

“How do you know this?”

“I used to live there. The great evil that lives in there killed my parents. My brother and I didn’t die because I transformed and he transformed with me.”

“Wow that sounds awful. So who is it that we are going to go save?”

“Cobra, Brio took him from me when we were walking. I know that sounds weak but my sword arm was cut and I didn’t have time to heal it before Brio took him.”

“Oh I see now. So how are you going to defeat this evil?”

“I have no idea but somehow I will. Well, we have been walking for most of the day we should be able to get where we are going tomorrow. Let’s rest for the night.”

I climbed a tree and slept there and threw Ray my sleeping bag.

“Here, take this. You can use it more than I can.”

“Thanks, Ria.”

As I began to sleep I saw Cobra but it was a better image.

“Cobra, Are you okay?”

“I’m fine, Ria. I’m a little worried though. Brio’s helpers have been declining everyday. Late at night like now I hear their screams, I have no idea what is going on. The guards even have been dying. The door starts to open but then it is slammed closed again.”

“Cobra, I know what’s going on there. The evil that killed my parents might still be there. You just have to stay alive, Ray and I are on our way.”

“If I don’t survive this I want you to know I love you.”

“You will survive it and Cobra, I love you.”

The next morning I jumped out of the tree and started gathering wood for a fire. After I started the fire I went over to Ray and started to wake him up.

“Ray, Come on. We have to be on our way, wake up.”

“Give me a second, Ria. I’ll be up in a second.”

“Come on, Sleepy head. We have someone to save today.”

“Okay, Okay. I’m moving!” Ray groaned.

“Hey, you got the soft ground, I got the tree.”

“Soft my butt! You mean that Black Panther in the tree last night was you?”

“Yes, that is just one of my many forms. Now can we be on our way, my boyfriend is in danger and we are here talking.”

“Okay, let’s be on our way.”

We walked for about two hours without saying anything, and then Ray saw the castle that we were heading to.

“Is that the place we are going?” Ray asked pointing to the castle rising from the horizon.

“Yes, that is where we are going. Can you transform or do I have to hold your hand for we can both transform.”

“I can’t transform but I can become invisible.”

I took off my backpack and took a necklace out from it.

“Here, wear this. It will let me know where you are. Don’t look at me like that. I know it’s kind of girly but I need you to wear it.” I said handing the necklace to Ray.

“Fine, if you insist.”

“Well, would you like a ride to the castle or do you think you can outrun a cheetah?”

“I think I will transform with you since I want to get there at the same time as you.”

“Okay then. Take my hand and don’t be afraid of the tingling sensation. It won’t hurt you, it’s just a weird feeling.”

“Okay, I trust you. Let’s do this so we can save Cobra and get out of here.”

I took Ray’s hand and transformed into a cheetah so we could get to the castle faster.

As we got to the castle I could hear the screams of people and I knew what was going on. The evil that was in the castle was killing again and I could only hope that Cobra wasn’t one of its victims.

Ray and I turned back to our human forms and opened the door to the castle.

“I can’t believe I am going back into this castle again after that thing killed my parents.”

I started looking around and my eyes fell on a picture of my parents.

My mother in her silk blue gown, a perfect color for her because of her blue eyes. Her blonde hair shining in the sun and her arms around my father who was wearing a black tux which brought out his black hair and his brown eyes. He was smiling because he had just found out that my mother was pregnant with me.

“Is that my little girl I see before me?” I heard a manly voice say from behind me. I turned around and saw my dad’s spirit.

“Oh, Daddy. Why are you still here? You should be resting in peace now.”

“My dear child I have no idea why your mom and I are still here. For now we are trying to keep the great evil, Dracko from killing that young man that’s in the dungeon.” My father said.

“How is he doing? Is he still okay?”

“He’s fine, Ria. Your mother is watching over him right now. How do you know this young man?”

“I go to school with him and, Daddy, he’s won my heart. I can’t let anything happen to him.”

I heard footsteps from behind me and just knew that it was Brio.

“Oh, look Ria is losing her mind.”

“I am not. I am talking to my father if you don’t mind.”

“You’re a lunatic, just admit it.”

“Just let me through, Brio.”

“Why so you can take my prisoner, I don’t think so.” Brio said as he got out his sword. I watched as my father stood behind him and started lifting him up off the ground.

“Father that is enough. Put him down please. If he wants to fight, we will just have to see who the best warrior is.”

“That’s right, but we already know who the best warrior is. I am.”

“I don’t really want to do this and I’m sure I am running out of time, but let’s get this over with.” I took my sword out of its scabbard and crossed it with Brio’s. Then we started to fight. After an hour of dueling Brio was out of breath and I tripped him with my foot. My sword tip was hovering just above his heart when Ray gave me the support to carry on the job.

“Be gone you, villain.” I said as I started to run towards the dungeons. I finally found the dungeons and saw my mother standing in front of one. When I saw her standing there I knew who was in that dungeon.

“Thanks, Mother. Do you know where the keys are so I can get Cobra out of there?”

“Yes, look in that desk there. There should be some keys in there.” My mother told me.

“Ria, is that you?”

“Yes, its me. I’ll be letting you out of that dungeon soon. Just let me find the keys.” I found the keys and ran to Cobra’s dungeon.

“It’s about time you got here, Love.”

As we all started walking out of the dungeon area two by two Cobra and I were attacked by Dracko. The attack was basically meant for me but Ray and Cobra both pushed me out of the way. With Cobra being telepathic he could for some odd reason tell where Dracko was and with Ray having the power to be invisible he could see invisible objects which left me the only one that could not see it.

Then Dracko became visible and I was scared. Dracko looked just like Cobra but he was older and had longer nails and had blood red eyes.

“I see that you have brought my last victim to me, my brother.” Dracko said to Cobra.

“What is he talking about, Cobra?”

“I have no idea. I have never seen this man before but like I said I have to have a special bond to get into someone’s head and I was able to get into his head and know where he was at.”

“Yes, Cobra, I am your brother.”

“Leave my friends alone then. I didn’t bring them here for you to kill them.”

“Such a mouthy little fellow, aren’t you. Want to come and be my dark knight, my dear brother?”

“No, never. I fight for the good not for the evil. If I did that Mother would be disappointed in me.”

“Cobra, can’t we just lock him up in a stone and throw him into the ocean?” I whispered in his ear.

“I don’t know if that would work, but we can try.”

My mother who had been standing behind me tossed me a stone and Ray, Cobra, and me both held onto the stone and said these words:

“What once was done must be undone. The evil in this room shall be placed in this stone and tossed in the sea.” As we said these words we heard an awful shriek and watched as Dracko disappeared into the stone.

Then I felt hands on my shoulder that I hadn’t felt there forever. I turned around and saw my parents standing behind me, no longer spirits but alive. I hugged them and began to cry. Then Cobra hugged me and kissed my forehead.

“Hello, You guys must be Ria’s parents.” Cobra said looking up.

“Yes, We are and we are very proud of her for being able to come back into this castle. Those words and that stone wouldn’t have worked if there was no good in your heart, Cobra, and we see you are nothing like your brother.”

We all walked to the sea and threw the stone into it. Then we all returned to the castle.

We all slept at the castle that night after cleaning it up. The next morning I forgot all about my parents ever being spirits and going to school for warriors just to hide. I was now going to school to be a warrior for my kingdom. Cobra now lived in the castle with my family and me and was a warrior for the kingdom. Things were back to normal for a while until Dracko’s friends came along but that is a different story. For Cobra and me we are still together though sometimes he gets annoyed with me for being too much of a princess. Ray, he decided to be a body guard for my parents. His girlfriend and his family came to live with us too.
