Beginnings. (Noni)

The clouds drifted by slowly. She sat on the edge of the rock and let her feet skim the water. She liked the tranquil atmosphere here. She laid back and looked up into the sky.

"There she is," she heard somebody say from a distance. She wondered who the she was. It didn't take her long to find out. "I thought we told you not to leave the closet!" a boy yelled at her, she blinked. It was the frog faced boy again. She watched as a fly flew around his head. She counted to three, his tongue slipped out and caught it. She clapped her hands.

"What are you doing, Weirdo?" She watched as he ate the buzzing creature. It was growing! She stood. He was going to choke on the thing. She pounced on him and forced his mouth open. This wasn't good. It was wrapped around his uvula. She used her finger to unwrap it.

"What is she doing?" the boy gagged out. "Get her off of me!" He began to flail around as she thrust a finger down his mouth. He was about to vomit. The others came to the rescue.

They were back. They wanted her flesh. She wouldn't pay attention to them until this boy was well. She almost had it out now. One of them had pulled her hair. They were grabbing at her arms now. "He's gagging! Can't you hear him?" she shouted at them. "I've got to save him!" She shook their hands off of her as she pried it's last leg off of the hanging piece of flesh. She then turned around to face the intruders.

They all jumped on her at once. She screamed. She felt teeth sink into her flesh. She kicked at them. Something hard hit her in the stomach paralyzing her. She watched the beasts as they swarmed around her.

"Freak!" they yelled at her as she lay there. Four of them sat on her limbs so she wouldn't escape. "Let's cut off her hair!" one of them shouted. They all cheered in agreement. A pair of scissors was brought to the leader, the frog boy. He held them high in the air then brought them down to her silver mane. He cut a handful off and threw it in her face.

She was frozen. Why had he cut off her hair? She had saved him. Tears began to leak out. She never understood him. Why was he so evil? She had saved him countless times but he never seemed to acknowledge it.

He stood over her, the last of her hair had been cut. He laughed at her, they all laughed at her. “Nobody wants you and now nobody will ever want you!” He kicked her and walked away, the others did the same.

She stared up into the sky until all became dark. Why did they treat her this way?

"He was fixing to vomit" Change that to "He was about to vomit" Otherwise, it sounds funny
