Beginnings. (Cordelia)

She smelled like alcohol. She hated it. "Hay thar toots," a male slurred as she walked by, "Wanna go for a walk wiv me?" She shook her head no and kept walking. He grabbed a hold of her waist before she could get any farther, "Walk with me," it was a demand.

He made her follow him through the crowd of drunkards. The door was now in sight. He pushed her through it and proceeded to move her towards the back of the pub. Once there he pushed her up against the wall and fondled the hem of her dress.

She stood there motionless and stared at the male. She wouldn't have allowed him to bring her here if she hadn't known him. "What do you want Caden?" He was an old friend of hers. She stared into his glassy bloodshot eyes.

He moved his head closer and the same time he hiccuped, making their heads touch, "'orry 'bout that," his eyes were now slowly starting to close. "I miss you," his breath was revolting, it made her want to vomit, "Why can't I have you?" He moved his hand up her body.

She pushed him off of her, "I was yours once, don't you remember? It didn't work out, you ended up marrying my sister instead." She was still upset by this, she had loved him and he had broke her heart.

The back door swung open, "We need you Corde. We've got a slight shortage on mead, do you mind going to the town over and asking Luca to bring some over?"

She looked over at the now sleeping Caden then back at the male who had spoken, "I don't mind at all," she turned and headed toward Hewter.
