The following is dedicated to Courtney Diacont Nazareth High's Favorite Senior may she be dancing with the angels.1
So young but so old. She took her final breath. Never to go to her senior prom. Never to graduated. Never to going off to college. Never able to see the spring flowers for one last time. Never to marry. Never to have a family of her own. Never to have the simple joys of life that we take for granet. She knew the end was near yet she smiled and laughed just like you and me. Who knew that when she woke up that morning that she'd take her final breath that day. That that would be her last day of school. That, that would be the final lunch with friends. The final meal with the family. The final laugh. The final smile. The final time she'd walk about this earth. Finally her pain is gone. Courtney Diacont died March 22 2007 but her spirt remains with us in our hearts and in our school. May she always be with us, our favorite senior.
