One day in the land of winter there ruled not one but two. The first ruler was the one known as the Snow White Queen; she controlled all that was winter in the land of winter, from the glistening tree tops to the white blanket that covered the land for miles and miles. There were days when she would come out of her beautiful crystallized castle, on the north part of the land, and walk amongst the animals that roamed the wondrous place to admire that she had created. There were also days were she would sit in her castle and let all the animals wonder curiously around. There were various other creatures that walked the lands like elves, dwarves, little people known as hobbits and many others. The Snow White Queen was quite happy with the way things were going along.
Ruler the second was known as the Ice Queen who was not a nice queen at all; she controlled all that was ice in the land of winter, from the streams to the rivers to the lakes too the oceans to the seas. Anything that could be frozen she froze it. Even the icicles that dangled from her castle on the south part of the land. Her castle was bigger than the other one, only because she had made the castle herself. She made the dwarves of the land work for her and in return she would reward them with all the treasures they wanted. She even has some of the animals working for her as spies and to keep watch over her castle. The Ice Queen was the Snow White Queens twin sister, this queen was the evilest of all queens.
On that day the sun shone ever so brightly as ever before, the birds chirped merrily, and the animals playfully jumped around enjoying the joyous day. The Snow White Queen wore a long sky blue elegant gown topped with a white over coat, on her golden blonde hair along with it being neatly tied up, lay a crown that sparkled just like her eyes which were of an almost transparent blue but could shine in the dark. She greeted all the animals with such a delighted smile and when she had finished, she raised her head and her hands up towards the sky and without saying a word it started to snow. The Queen continued her walk along the path to go and visit her sister the Ice Queen.
The Ice Queen coincidently was thinking the same thing to go and visit her sister whom which she hasn’t seen in a very long time. She wore a gown of a maroon color that swept the very ground in which she stepped on, she had topped it off with a long black over coat, on top of her raven black hair that stretched down to her hips rested a different crown of that of her sisters that as well sparkled that brought out the brightness of the jet blue in her eyes. As she walked through the woods of her castle grounds she informed the birds and the dwarves to keep a close eye on her castle in case her sister decided to play any tricks on her while she was away. The path that the Ice Queen was walking upon also happened to be the same path that the Snow White Queen was traveling on. They both had no idea that who they were about to meet.
While the Snow White Queen meandered along the path towards her sister’s large castle she spotted something that she had never noticed before, a boy. A boy was sitting on the side of the path crying. The Queen was not sure of what to do with a situation like this so she did the first thing that came to mind,
“Little boy, why do you cry?” The boy, as if he hadn’t heard her continued to cry. His sobs were getting harder and louder. The Queen stepped closer to the obviously lonely child and asked once again but this time a little louder to talk over the boy’s loud sobs. Still, there was no answer. She was now next to the boy but where she was very much taller then he she sat down beside him. “Have you lost someone?” She tried. Now the boys sobs started to slow and he looked at the woman who sat beside him. He had short eye length dark brown hair and the shiniest hazel eyes she had ever seen.
“I have lost my father’s watch.” The child replied in a quiet but deep and what sounded to be a British accented voice. “I am not sure were I was last when I had lost it. I had only noticed it was missing a couple of moments ago.” The wiped his eyes as he said this.
“I could help you if the missing object too me.” The boy, although the crying had stopped, did not answer this strange woman, perhaps the reason being that he did not know her so he did not trust her. The boy instead just hugged his knees and stared off into the distance. As they both sat there in silence the Ice Queen made her way down the path towards them. She stopped next to the boy and looked down at her sister.
“Sister,” Snow White Queen looked up, startled, “why does this boy look as though he has lost himself?”
“He has not lost himself but an object of his family. He does not seem to want any help to find this lost object.” The Queen said in reply. Her sister reached into the pocket of her long black coat and pulled out a very shiny silver pocket watch then bent down to the boy,
“Is this the item in which you seek boy?” The boy looked up and in shock grabbed the watched and jumped around joyously proclaiming his thanks to the Ice Queen. Snow White Queen was astonished at what she had just seen her sister do. “Looks as though my very own sister is losing her touch in predicting such things.” The boy then gave another thanks and ran off in the direction in which his home must be.
