Okay...I need to write a 20000 word book for children aged 11-13 or so. And I NEED IDEAS!
slowly, over the last few months I will be adding to my book!
PLOT...(mmm...thats whats the problem. I don't have one!)
Okay, so far from what I'm seeing,I see this group of four friends. Who land themselves into an 'adventure' (help me on this one)
What should they write?
1. It should be 10-15 chapters with a minimum of 15,000 words and as many as 25,000.
2. It should emphasize positive values and must not be counter to Christ-centered values.
3. It should have a believable story-line unless it is fantasy.
4. It may have a religious theme, but it must not be preachy.
5. It should be an adventure without gore.

I think that writing about four friends somehow ending up in some place away from home would be great. You could show how true friendship can be shown through times of adversity and how friends stick by your side. I think that would be great. -
write about a fairy tale or something like that i trust you can do that

WELL, you are a smart person and maybe you could write it about a kid that losses a brother or sister to death... or something like that, I guess you could do it about something happy like Brigde to Teribithia... but not that they loss there friend... that is all i got... sorry.

A suggestion: Start with a dilemma - at least one of your characters doesn't know whether to do or X or Y, since there are up and downsides to both courses.

that you have plenty experience with to help give it depth and give you inspiration (= like...i dunno. a rich, pretty blond girl who lives by the beach. lol (=
