I saw your face
on a subway train
So sad, so tired
Your eyes full of pain
I comforted you
The best I could
Spoke my few words of wisdom
As a good friends should
Soon it grew more the friends
And together we rose above
Everyone's expectations
And we fell in love
We spent our life togther
Sharing each moment on
Laughing, smiling, dancing
Forever on
But things got dangerous
War broke, mothers greived
The loss of their sons
You had to leave
To fight against
Our brutal foes
And what happens there, no one let us know
I'm ashamed I let you go
But I had to stay free
So while you march off to war
Will you remember me?
I think of you everyday
Dreaming by the old willow tree
And I did, and still remember you
Will you remember me?
If you die
And enjoy heaven's glee
I can't help but wonder
Will you remeber me?

Aw, it is really sweet.
I love the repetition of "will you remember me?"...
well, I will always remember this story/poem for sure.
You better keep writing. You have a talent.

Good
I've read a few of your works and they seem to be pretty darn good, and really emotional. This was no exception.
