The mirror, Part 1

"NO NO NO NO, not again, please not again. Please not again" Veronica screamed as Bobby held her there, making her stare into the mirror." Please Bobby, I love you, please don't do this to me, you don't know how it hurts, please please don't do this to me" She tries to get away but Bobby holds her tight with his other hand, making sure she cannot go any were. He was determined to get Veronica to see the beauty that she is one way or another. He had had enough bull shit, and now it was time to face the facts.He still hears Veronica in the back round, screaming, making it seem as though he is trying to kill her. Why can't she see how gorgeous she is? Long Blondie hair, sparkling blue eyes, the cutest dimple he ever saw... and yet she see's none of it. In fact, he doesn't know what she see's. He begins to remember how it all started, and it sends shivers up his spine. 1

He had met Veronica at a party only 6 months earlier. On the outside she seemed normal. Sweet, VERY cute, even confident, but he learned later how wrong he was.That night at the party they exchanged numbers, Bobby definitely intending to call. She was beautiful and they seemed to hit it off, so why not? The next weekend they went out on a date. He had spent hours trying to find the most original date he could. He figured that's what had won her over, but then again, Bobby had this kind of charisma about him that just about every girl loved him, but he was oblivious to this. After that date Bobby knew that Veronica was going to be a wonderful girlfriend. His wonderful girlfriend, so on their 3rd date he asked her to be such, and she readily agreed. He could tell she really cared about him just by the look in her eyes when she saw him, and having her made him feel like the luckiest guy in the world.2

After about their 3 month anniversary a deep hideous secret came sprawling out of Veronica's mouth one night. She admitted to not being able to look in the mirror without wanting to regurgitate. Bobby was completely awe stricken. How could such a magnificent creature be afraid of what lurked on the mirrors surface? He tried over and over again to try to figure out why, and how, and every time she tried to explain to him the depth of it all, it simply sounded like gibberish. I mean, being afraid to look in the mirror? Hating what you see? Wanting to change everything about yourself? Being petrified of being seen by herself and others? It just didn't make sense. It didn't make sense for anyone, yet alone a gorgeous thing like Veronica. Couldn't she see her own beauty? And that's what lead up to this dreadful night. He had to show her how beautiful she is. He had to make her understand how he and everyone else see's her,but she is struggling all the way. That's when Bobby finally gave up, grabbed both of her wrists with one hand and held a mirror in front of her face with another.3

While she was screaming, begging and pleading him to let go and to let her go away and never see herself again he himself began shouting too. " Look!! Look at yourself damn it! Look at you, you're gorgeous! How can you not see that? YOU ARE BEAU..." and Bobby never finished his sentence and never will. Somehow Veronica had slipped out of his hold while he was yelling and grabbed the mirror from him. She then shattered the mirror on her face be ramming it into her beautiful feature's.When the mirror fell to her feet she picked up a piece of glass from the ground, still with blood on it, and slit Bobby's throat. This was all done so quickly Bobby could never have defended himself against it all. As the blood squirted out of his throat, Veronica took the piece of glass she had killed Bobby with and soaked it in blood. When it was fully covered with crimson blood she wrote on the wall slowly but surely " Beware of the mirror"....4
