In no more than twelve hours you will understand this pain. Until then, I will keep you in confinement. You will have no food, no water, no social contact, and you will be denied sleep. In twelve hours you will know what I went through. You will know the pain I was caused. I shall teach you what such cruelty can do, what it can lead to. Then, maybe, if you live, you won’t question any more. Just maybe you’ll understand what this is. This won’t be fun for you. Enjoy it. I know I will.

I agree with Purplelipra it also reminded me of the part in the movie V For Vendetta (my fav. movie).

This is somewhere between submissive anticipation and maybe something a kidnappee would go through at the hands of her captor. I also think this reminds me of V for Vendetta when he was trying to program the fear out of her. You're hitting a lot of old notes today. Aside from my weird associations, I think it was well-written and intriguing. Will you continue?

Wow, Missy.. the words are so commanding, so "in charge" - I found myself just imagining how that person came to BE what s/he is... It HAS been said that to understand the person, you have to understand his or her pains...
The ending has this feel of impending doom, and everything fading into darkness was just... *shivers run down my spine*
