From a teenager to the wise

Every girl gets her heartbroken at one point or another, its practially an unwritten rule. Most teenage girls get their heart broken over that one week relationship, and then quickly move on. Then there are the select few of us who really fall in love for good. Some of us will be lucky enough to marry this special man in our lives, and be able to say we married our high school sweetheart. The remainder of us will get our hearts broken in a break up that is more likely then not really messy. We spent months upon years heartbroken and depressed and carry some sort of baggage with us for the rest of our lives. It sometimes make you wonder, who are truely the lucky ones?

Are we better off spending those critical years that will decide if we are going to hate the world or not getting our heart broken so badly that it never really repairs? Or are we better off spending those years, that tend to be so lonely anyway, alone? For if we make unwise decisions we might come to find that the rest of our life has changed, which is where the real irony lies; The years where our decisions will decide the rest of our lives are the ones that tend to be our least stable. We make the decisions that we will forever regret, and we don't truely understand. These years are always tend to be filled with the laughter and tears that will mark the rest of our life, and they are known as our best years, yet they are also filled with ignorance. Which brings me to ask the real question of them all; Is such ignorance truely bliss?
