Alligator Monster

children get too close to the cult,
as they watch others sacrificed,

a demon arises from the lake,
it resembles an alligator,

but it walks like a man,
with eyes like fire,

the children scream and flee into the night,
as the monster follows thirsting for blood,

each fall except for one,
a young blonde girl,

she runs hard to the edge of the woods,
she finds a cabin there to hide in,

here she finds a coffin well hidden,
it is empty so she hides in it,

in hours another coffin opens up,
showing a woman with dark hair,

she is short and looks fragile,
eyes full of fearlessness,

the girl is full of fear and hope,
she explains why she's there,

the woman tells her to show here the lake,
so the girl shows her the lake,

as the two approach the lake's edge,
the beast emerges from the water,

the girl runs as our heroine stands her ground,
she dodge the creature's blows and jaws,

hitting the beast with a crushing blow,
yet it stands firm not budging,

the reptilian drops her with a slap,
lifting the vampire in the air,

he opens his mouth wide displaying large teeth,
blood covering them as Ashlyn head draws closer,

emerging from the woods the priest laughs at his catch,
a reptile shaped medallion hanging from his neck,

with telekinesis Ashlyn summons the medallion to her,
as it appears in her hand the beast drops her,

it bows humbly to her kneeling at her feet,
the priest begs for the medallion,

commanding the reptile to slay the priest,
and then promising it freedom in return,

the priest shivers as the reptile leaps on him,
grabbing and lifting the priest high above,

crushing the evil man in it's jaws,
then bows to our hero Ashlyn,

the creature returns to it's depths,
she watches it sink into the lake,

Ashlyn destroys the medallion in her hands,
crushing it with her vampiric strength,

she returns to the cabin,
and to a relieved girl,

she then takes the child home,
and hands her some gold,

the gold is to keep her secret safe,
and her cabin hidden in the shadows.
