Football

Football is a war, it is a game where you can legally beat someone down to a concussion. But in a war comes battles, there are three battles of football and each one just as important as another. The first battle is the battle of the lineman, in this battle the fearless lineman put their hands down on the ground every play and basicly charge at each other with nothing but a helmet and shoulder pads. The only way to win this battle is to overcome the people that are stronger than you and show them on the first play that you are that guy not to !@#$ with. The second battle is the battle of the backs. To be a back you must be as tough as a lineman and as fast as a receiver able to hit someone hard enough to knock them down and then get up and hit another person. This position is grueling and tiring but in the end it pays off. And the third and final battle is the battle of the Receivers. As a receiver you half to be really fast and have lots of stamina. The only way to win the battle as a receiver is to outrun your opponent every play. Receivers half to be in top physical shape because if you get hit at a week moment as a receiver you could get hurt bad.And the last battle is between you and your mind to have enough courage to overcome great obstacles.Only the strongest and smartest men get the honor to play a great game such as football.

Do you agree of disagree

    Excellent Insite

Ahhh...the cracking of helmets. Mine was not shatter proof 20 some odd years ago. from a left gaurds point of view great write. Here's one for you.
One of our mighty M.D.I. line backers tackled the oposing teams QB and ran with him over his shoulder towards our goal post for a touch down.hahaha... which of course was flagged. Adding insult to injury? That team walked off the field at half time stating we played to rough. Good write I look fwd. to reading more of your works.
