With James's Lego battle starship on the path to destruction he was not in the best of moods. Ducking behind the comet AKA the sofa. He carried on trying to hide from the Roaring Bogie AKA his brother. Though James would never tell you this. If you think about it you might realize that James didn't really like the idea of having a bogie as a brother.
The Temple of Boxes that held his idea of the Ultimate Prize awaited him. His Ultimate Prize being a green Lego gem. Though not as fantastic as other people’s dreams it was sufficient enough for a six-year-old, Lego loving boy. Also sharing James dream of the green Lego gem was the Roaring Bogie. Who was now making his way towards the Temple of Boxes.
James realized that he must do something if he was going to save the green Lego gem from the Roaring Bogies clutches and get it for himself. To James the most obvious and heroic thing (he thought) to do at the time was to grab on to the Roaring Bogies legs. Which was not the best idea. James only realized this when he ended up being dragged along by the Roaring Bogies ankles.
With James now in another heroically difficult situation, he needed to come up with a far better plan. Though at that moment James was slightly distracted by the thought that he might catch the bogie bug off of the Roaring Bogie. He had touched his leg after all. With all these thoughts flying round James head He was starting to get more than slightly confused. So he came up with the perfect solution. Well the most perfect solution that could come out of a six-years-olds brain. This solution was to simply forget about the whole situation. With the possible loss of the green gem removed temporarily from his mind James began to wonder why he was holding on to the Roaring Bogies ankle. Finding no reason he let go and stood up. Now standing up James found himself confused again by the fact that he had carpet burns down his face. Though decided it didn’t really matter because it looked like war paint.
Turning around he saw the Roaring Bogie destination. A massive pile of boxes. Fantastic. James only realized that he was about to crush a sacred (to him anyway) temple when he was three centimeters away from it. In the air. Against a airborne chubby six-year-old the Temple of Boxes did not have a chance. Oops! It was safe to say the Roaring Bogie was not exactly happy and neither was the Screaming Bogie AKA James’s mum.
Now when James, in the Screaming Bogies eyes was naughty he was sent to his room. If this was meant to be a punishment for James it didn't really work. From his point of view his mother had decided that today she would give him the honor of not being able to hear her speak or rather not hear her Screeching.
As his mother did not know this and would never no this. He was in a good situation. James opened his hand and smiled at the green Lego gem that he'd picked up when the Sreaming Bogie had been screeming at him. YES!
James Sneezed. It looked like he was now called the Forgettable Bogie.

This reminds me a bit of my son and nephew...
It's so cutely written that it makes a six year old's life sound like a grand adventure... which, at times, seems like it is.
Thank you for entering, and good luck with the contest
