Waking up Dead

1

They use to always tell me, "Be careful or one day you will wake up dead." I would laugh heartily at the silly concept, until of course it actually happened. The dead part was quite simple, one moment I was there and the next, I wasn't. Fortunately I have few family and close friends so that part of the formula was not too complicated. The waking up part was the difficult bit. It was as though my thoughts had been scattered over billions of miles of space. It was a great long time before I even realized that that molecule a thousand miles over there was even a part of me and even longer for me to convince the it that we needed to be back together. It looked like I was going to be late getting out of bed on this morning.2

Wake up dead? Yes, a difficult thing to speculate on--and to achieve. Even more difficult to ascertain that you are indeed dead. Hmmm. Fun beginning.

this is very clever and very creative, something i've never read before, well ive never read anything like it but you get it its very different and different is good. Actually, i love this, i've read it over again twice now and it just gets better and better! most aren't like that, usually if you read stuff over you find mistakes but not with this that makes it one of the best on the site! great job and seriously keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
