Jordan:1
The stench of honeysuckles hung about in the air, threatening to drown Jordan as he breathed in too deep, continuing on his walk on the abandoned bike path with Janie. The stars seemed more distant that usual, more like a delicate sprinkling instead of clusters. Maybe it was God's method of turning away, not watching their secret time so it wasn't as much of a crime. 2
Janie leaned across the rickety wooden bridge, her red curls hanging in front of her face, almost crimson in the moonlight. Jordan wanted to hold her, yet didn't want to spoil the beauty that softly radiated from her. Desire overcame him and he walked behind and slipped his arms around Janie's waist. Janie leaned against his chest, their hearts aligned. Jordan hoped she could feel his heart beat- pounding at an unmeasurable speed just at hear nearness. Very slowly, Janie turned around. She reached to tuck a rebelling curl behind her ear, but Jordan caught her hand, his palm resting across her cheek. He felt her shudder as she took a deep breath, and watched her gaze shift downward as her long lashed sprawled against her creamy ivory skin. Jordan wasn't sure who leaned in first- it doesn't matter- all that mattered was his hand tangled within her hair and the feeling in his stomach like he knew everything was right. 3
Janie: 4
Janie brook apart- the feeling of completeness had felt too strong, yet it wasn't hers to keep/ The warmth of Jordan's embrace wouldn't hold her forever. Jordan's lips grazed her forehead as his breath whispered haggard against her skin. Janie felt him shaking and knew why he was. They had done something she never thought would happened. They had betrayed Alexis. But this? It didn't feel like a betrayal. This felt pure and right and bigger than anything Janie had ever felt before. So big she wanted to fill her lungs with the cool night air and run around and laugh and cry and touch the stars- just to feel something bigger than this feeling to remind Janie it was merely a human emotion. 5
Alexis:6
Alexis picked up the phone to call Jordan. She wanted to hear his voice- to be reassured the facade of a spotless relationship was still in place. the phone sat heavy in her hand and the dull buzz of the continuous ring filled Alexis with dread, for reasons she didn't or couldn't understand.7
Jordan never picked up.8

And so goes life.
Sad and romantic, yet the reader finds (me) happy for Jordan and Janie ... Alexis almost seems menacing..
