Escursionisti Di Notte (Travelers of Night) - Part Three

Prologue from Part Two: “Just around that corner… Race ya!” She started running so fast I didn’t even see her. So I started sprinting fast when I rounded the corner we were at the edge of the woods and she wasn’t anywhere in site. The only place she could’ve ran was into the woods. I ran to the opening and ran a little ways in and turned around and I saw her behind me. The sun was almost all the way in the sky, so the sky was pink. “You beat me!” She said and laughed. She ran up to me and I caught her in my arms.

“Very strong arms.” She said and kissed me. I lifted her down and she slowly eased me towards the back of the tree. And we made out I was kissing her on her collarbone when she gripped me tightly and I felt a sharp pain on my neck and it hurt. It felt as if I was getting weaker and weaker, then I realized she was drinking my blood…

Part Three:

This was the most delicious human blood I’d ever drunk before!! When I felt him passing out I stopped. I cut my wrists as Drake had taught me and said, “Drink from me and live forever or die now and meet your judgment.”

“Why would you do this to me, I never hurt you.” He drank hungrily from me.

“No talking now, I will tell you everything you need to know later. Just drink and sleep.” When he finished drinking I picked him up over my shoulders and sped off in the woods. A little tired from him drinking of me I stopped at the pasture and spotted a deer. I lay down Adam upon the hearth and sped after this deer. Before it could run I attacked it and drank from it. I wiped my mouth and turned around and Adam was leaning against the tree.

“Will you please tell me what this is about?” He said and nearly fell down. I picked him up and continued to walk to the cave. “I wanna know what you are and why’d you pick me? Are you gonna eat me or something?”

“I suggest you sleep. Because tonight you will learn how to feed and your feeding teeth are beginning to grow, go to sleep it could be painful.” He then went right on to sleep as I rounded the cave. I entered the cave and I saw the female had gotten up to urinate, but she went back to sleep. I woke up Drake and he looked as if he was still tired though. He always inspected them to make sure they were the right kind.

“Hello Darling, I see you found my note,” He raised up out of his bedding and lay down Adam, “What is his name?”

“Adam.”

“That’s a splendid name to star a new clan with. The females name is Eve so him and her are going to multiply many and many of children for us.” He said and turned to me. “Darling why are you so quiet?” He walked towards me. “You’re usually giggling and talking away about how much fun teaching is going to be.” I handed him the note.

“It had me thinking a lot about how living together is going to be, without having to teach anyone anything. Having our own children, house, valuables, I love the idea of it!” I walked towards him and slipped my arms around his neck. “I can’t wait, Dear. I can’t wait.”

“Me either Love. I promise, we will have as many children as you would like, and anything you want, I promise you we will get.” He kissed me on the lips. We had all day to ourselves, but nothing to do. We couldn’t make love for we’d make the newcomers stir and he can’t go out in the day like I can. The sun was barely in the sky.

“What do you suppose we do?” I asked him resting my head on his chest.

“We could either sleep, or we could just look into each others eyes,” I blushed, “I could look into your endless eyes all day and when you look back my heart races.” He lowered his head and kissed me. I kissed him back, allowing his tongue to slip past my lips. All of the times me and him have kissed this was the most passionate of all.

His handsome looks, and very soft and gentle hands intrigue me so much. He pulls back and stare into my eyes. “My Dear Cassandra… I’m glad you are my wife and soul mate. You remember how I told you I’ve wanted to drink of you, so I can become a day walker also? I know you are weak. But if you drink of me and I drink of you we will have the same great genes and I can finally go out in the day. What’d you say?”

I tilt my head to the side, “Be my guest.” He slowly grips my sides and takes a deep breath and slowly lowers his head. I look to see his fangs, this isn’t the first time I’ve been bitten before, but just seeing him like this could melt my heart. He’s only bitten me once before and that was when we were dating and he made me his, that night.

He slowly bares his feeding teeth on my tender skin and it hurts a little, but when he starts sucking it’s like making love for the first time all over again. I love it. “Ohhhhh.” I coo as he drinks. He stops and I feel a little dizzy and he licks off the access blood around the wound.

“Bite me now Darling.” I try to stand up as I slowly and drowsily bite him and drink.

“Oh Darling…” He says I think he felt the same pleasure as me. I stop and lick off his wound and look him in the eye. “I will wait until tomorrow to see if I have become a day walker. Darling, I desire you.” He kisses me again. Except this time he lifts me up and carries me to the back room. I lay down and he lays beside me. We start to kiss and kiss and kiss. I begin to think we will never stop. But then he slowly drifts to sleep. Him saying, “I love you.” Me returning the same emotion with a kiss on his cheek.

I get up and go check on them I find Eve sitting up shaking and afraid.

“Hello Eve. It’s nice to see you’ve awaken.”
