It’s a new age; those that have made it through the post nuclear winter, survive the radiation and eked out an existence, grow strong. From here there is hope, the earth and its few inhabitants can start the task of rebuilding, recreating. It will be slow, the concept of religion has been abandoned and we must once again rely on the land and its ability to forgive. And through all this I look deep in to her eyes, looking past the horror and sadness to the generations that lay ahead. I take her hand, and upon one knee I ask.
