It was a graceful afternoon when the badger decided to take a stroll through the woods. The sun parted through the gaps in the treetops and intermittently lit up the forest floor, which was littered with brush, dirt, and humus of all colors and smells. It was here that he came upon an unopened bag of potato chips. Recognizing the treat, he was prevented from claiming it by his old nemesis, the skunk, standing opposite him. They stared down, wary of each other’s strengths (badger’s claws, skunk’s stench). Two swipes decided the fight, with the badger leaving with the chips.

i almost feel sorry for the skunk......almost
this certainly was random and odd, but someimes they are the best kind of story! the title of this one intrigued me, so i just had to read it! it makes you wonder just what goes on in the woods when no humans are around! -
I think it is very small and doesn't have a plot. But the description of the nature is very good
beginning: 3, language: 4, plot: 1, ending: 1, dialog: 3, characters: 2.

LOL! --- and the moral is? This was a fun read.

This is cute and fuzzy! I'm glad the badger won, but I wish the skunk would have attempted to spray the badger with stink.
