The four of us sat in anticipation, then with out warning the pilot called “standby” over the intercom. The assistant opened the jump door and guided Jill in to position, the light turned red and one by one we stepped in to the atmosphere, within moments we were falling at 100 feet per second. I watched as the ground rushed towards me, below me I see the others there shoots open. I reach for my release grip and pulled, nothing happened. I rolled reached for the emergency the second shoot tangled above my head. I closed my eyes and prayed.

Interesting...
I like the way you portrayed the story. -
I'd consider the aspect of portraying a plane crash from the passenger's point of view. I like this piece, it's good.

interesting idea, i got a good picture of it from so few words. however you don't have exactly 100, it is only 89 as i saw from the side. so please add some more in, i'm sure you can come up with another sentence or two.

Wow! what a cliff hanger! I could really imagine the scene, and it felt like I was there. Thats hard to do in just 100 words. Good luck in the contest.

It's 'prayed', not 'preyed', the version you used is the hunter/prey version, not the religious palm to palm version. Nice and quick, though I'd've split the paragraph a bit to show just HOW quick. Nice though, good job.
