An Uncommon Love

I have always been one of those people who don't really believe in love, this was until one sunday afternoon when i met my wonderful partner Lewis.

It was Sunday the 5th of May, The suns beaming rays were hot to the touch of my skin and the smell of the barbeque traveled through the air, making everyone feel hungry. It was my fathers annual summer barbeque he did every year, this was one of them times that the whole family would get together for the day. Well, my father decided that this year he would invite some of his work mates and their sons to the barbeque, this wasn't unusual for my father to do. Take for example last christmas, my mother wanted to have a family party to celebrate the new year, it turned out to an free for all, my mother didn't know half the people that were there, this of course was my fathers doing. Anyway so i was on my way to the drink stand not looking what i was doing as you do and i bumped in to someone. I turned around to see this guy standing there looking like he had wet himself from where i had walked into him, anyway i apologised so many times that i couldn't even count. he said it was ok but i was so embarressed i swear i must of been a blaitent shade of scarlet. I said sorry again and i walked off.

As the day began to slip in to the night i found myself picturing this guys face, i just couldn't shake it. Although i did find him really cute, he had the most beautiful blue eyes, gorgeous jet black hair and the most sexiest body i had ever seen.

I walked in doors and up to my bedroom to change. When i came down guess who was standing there.

"Hello" he said, my nees started to wobble and the butterflies in my stomach felt as if they were on speed.

"Hi," i answered "sorry about earlier,"

He grinned at me as if too say ok you can stop apologising now. I could feel myself blushing.

"listen how would you like to get a drink with me?" he asked.

"Ummmmmm......y-es of course i would love to, by the way my name is Elliot,"

He held his arm out and i in turn wrapped my arm around his. Then we started to make our way to the bar walking past everyone it was asif we were in our own little world were noone else existed.

"By the way my name i Lewis."

we had our drinks and we spoke nearly all night, finding out about each other and our families. After that everything just slipped into place, we moved in together a couple of months later, and then a couple of months after that we got married, and here we are now in love.

so take my advise girls, never ever even contemplate giving up on love because there is someone out there for everyone.
