Chapter Three: The First Witching4
It was at about ten-thirty that morning when Robin heard it. She was on her way to get Doughnuts and coffee for the STN-J workers. A small girl was playing Hopscotch on a dry slab of pavement under the Awning of The Doughnut Shoppe. She was wearing a small white, puffy coat, with embroidery. All of the clothing of hers you could see was her long skirt and her snow boots. She was singing a small tune that sounded vaguely like “London Bridge”5
“Robin will be first to go,6
First to go,7
First to go,8
Robin will be first to go,9
Rot in hell.10
Amon is number two,11
Number two,12
Number two,13
Amon is number two,14
Die slowly,15
Doujima is after him,16
After him,17
After him,18
Doujima is after him,19
Stupid bitch…”20
Robin did not stay to listen to the rest, she quickly went inside and ordered her Doughnuts and espressos and delivered them to STN-J. Everyone flooded over to them. Amon hadn’t flooded over and Robin took this as her chance to tell him what she saw and heard. “Amon?” She asked, approaching him. “Hmmm?” he answered, looking at her. She explained what she saw.21

That afternoon a meeting was called, about passer by’s hearing the girl and her morbid tunes. “Witnesses say, that she looked up once, and her eyes were gone.” Michael said, his fingers still flying all over the keyboard. “One in particular said he saw her floating a few inches above the ground, his daughter tugged his coat, and told him that the girl was cheating.” He continued. The others nodded. Robin breathed deeply. “She probably won’t be very easy to find, the last place she was seen was at the Doughnut Shoppe in downtown, at around Ten-Thirty.” Michael basically recited. The STN-J members looked at Robin. “Was she wearing anything in particular?” Amon asked. “Well,” Robin began. “She was wearing a white coat, with Blue, Purple, and Pink embroidery, and a long blue skirt and white Snow boots matching her coat.” Robin said, brushing a lock of hair out of her eyes and placing it gently behind her ear.23

Driving not as wildly as he usually would, Amon drove tot eh Doughnut Shoppe, and sure enough the young girl was still there singing her horrible tune.25
“STN-J will collapse,26
Will Collapse,27
Will Collapse,28
STN-J will collapse,29
Everyone dies.30
Witches will roam the earth,31
Roam the earth,32
Roam the earth,33
Witches will Roam—“ 34
She was cut off as she noticed Amon and Robin. Her head made a movement as if to look at them with her non-existent eyes. She gave an evil smirk and faded away into the stone of the building. Robin looked on in shock and Amon stood there, frozen.35

Robin returned home, Touko was sitting at the table, sipping tea, as she entered. “Good Evening, Robin.” Touko said and looked around at her smiling. “Hello, Touko, How was your day?” Robin asked, hanging up her coat and setting her bag down under it. “It was…good.” Touko replied. “And yours?” she added. “It was…strange…” Robin said, not quite sure of how to describe her day. “Well, what happened?” Touko asked, prying with some sushi. Robin looked at it lovingly, her mouth salivating, and went on into a complete babble about her day. “So anyway, I went to go get doughnuts this morning, right? And there’s this girl and she’s singing this evil, morbid tune right? And So I go and I get the stuff for STN-J and they all attack me for their doughnuts and coffee, and while I sneak away I see Amon…(Touko sighed dreamily) sitting there all alone, and so I tell him what happened and then that afternoon we had a meeting and this girl is a witch see? And so it happens that this meeting is about the girl I saw this morning, so me and Amon, went to go hunt her, and she looked at us and she had no eyes, and she stopped singing and faded into the wall and give me that sushi.” Robin said and breathed deeply, and grabbed the Sushi from Touko and ate it, almost Ravenously, but not quite.37

That night, Robin was up once more, knitting her sweater, she had almost finished when her communicator rang. She jumped surprised by the ringing that pierced the darkness. She quickly went to Answer it. “Eh…” Robin yawned. “Hello?” she said, tiredly. “Sorry to bother you Robin, but can you come down here to STN-J?” came Michael’s friendly voice. “Eh, sure…if my trip over there doesn’t kill me…” Robin replied, tired and jokingly. Michael gave a small laugh. “See you in a bit.” Robin said, and hung up.39
Walking into the darkness of the living room/dining room/kitchen combo, she scrawled a note for Touko, telling her where she was. Grabbing up her bag, and helmet she put her coat on and left as quietly as possible. Once Outside, Robin mounted her Vespa and started it up, and zoomed to STN-J, and on her way…She met the small girl with no eyes, standing in the middle of the road, an evil smirk upon her face, and floating at least 6 inches above the pavement.40
“Robin will be first to go,41

First to go,43
Robin will be first to go,44
