Sango awoke from her slumber, finding herself in a far corner of an immense Labyrinth. She shook off the remainder of her sleep and began walking down the first corridor. Immediately, she came to a dead end, with a large door stuck right in the middle. She gently grasped the handle, and entered...
She was once again face to face with her brother Kohaku. Not the Kohaku she knew and loved, but the Kohaku that was dead, the demon that was controlled by Naraku. She was weaponless, she didn't even have the Huraikotsu, the legendary boomerang bone that she had always had.
Kokaku, weilding his chain whip, lashed out once, striking his sister in the face, opening a massive gash from her eye to her lips that began to bleed freely. Sango fell forward, afraid for her life.
Her breath began to ring against the ground, and she sank downward, into a cavern. The stalagmites and stalagtites in this room were an azure blue, gently dripping their bright water into a massive chasm in the center, she bent down, and gently drank some of that pure water.
The gash in her face vanished, insantly healed, so she dived into the water and swam into the center.
In the middle of the shallow lake, a narrow island rose up out of the water to form a subtle altar. A staff stood straight up out of the formation, its blue crystal gently reflecting the light that resonated off of the water and onto the walls. She stepped up, and gently grasped the staff in her hands.
Immediately she rose forth from the ground, brandishing the staff at Kohaku. His eyes narrowed at the sight of a new weapon, and he lashed out with his chain-whip once more, catching the staff in its chain.
Suddenly the staff began to pulsate with a bright blue light, and Kohaku's chain-whip rusted and fell apart. Sango grasped the staff in her hands, smashing it across her brother's face. And a door appeared before her. She entered, back into the Labyrinth...

Miroku wound his way down the corridor, and he turned into a dead end. Set in the middle of the wall of the dead end was a door...he gently pushed it open...
He fell onto the floor of the throne room at the palace at Kyoto...before him sat the Princess, on her magnificent throne of silver...her purple eyes staring down at him with furious intensity. She hadn't a stitch of clothing on her body...
Miroku got up...meeting her lavender gaze. He immediately turned red...and then grew angry...
"Sango better not be here, too!" He muttered to himself
"Oh she's not...in this world, it's just you and me, alone, forever." the Princess replied.
"But...I don't want to be alone. I want to be with Sango, forever!"
As the truth fell out of Miroku's lips, the dream began to shimmer, and the Princess became a towering giantess, her foot poised over Miroku's head.
Miroku tore the rosary away from his cursed hand, and the Wind Tunnel sucked her into oblivion.
Miroku quickly crossed to the door, and reentered the labyrinth.
