Demoness Lia held her infant son, Touchstone close as she ran through the forest. She looked back, fear strong in her eyes, she began running faster through she heard no one behind her. You could never be too careful. The branches snapped back and twigs on the ground broke loudly as she ran carelessly through the forest. Her heart was pounding fast and she was breathing hard. I must escape, must protect infant were the thoughts that went through her mind as she ran with all her strength which wasn’t much. She had just got done fighting the most powerful Demon huntress there was, Princess Carya. She shivered as she thought of ice cold blue eyes staring emotionless at her. She had tried to beg for the life of her son and herself but it did no good.

“You must be destroyed.” Was the huntress said in a chilling voice as she drew her famous a poison coated sword. “You are unnatural as is your child.”

NO she wanted to cry he is special! Lia had fought with fire balls but it was hard since she had just given birth, she was weak. So she had made a escape but not by much by jumping up on the trees and jumping on them until she was sure she was far away enough from the huntress to travel on foot she could have just Diced but she didn’t have enough energy to disappear and reappear in another place. Lia stopped and pulled the hood of her cloak down farther as she neared a road. She didn’t want to scare anyone with her unruly appearance, she couldn’t take on a human appearance at that moment. So she was struck with her red eyes, blue hair, and pointed ears. She wasn’t a evil demon, but one that just was.. Lia didn’t know how long she walked. But she didn’t know she was very tired and felt like she was going to collasp when she heard horses. Darn, they were close, she hadn’t been paying attention. Suddenly her eyes widen and filled with pain, as a sharp pain went through her left shoulder. Poison coated Arrow, but not on the side I am holding the baby were the last thoughts before she plunged into darkness but not before she diced.

Lia awoke sweating and afraid the first thoughts that went her head, where is Touchstone?

She felt a cool hand on her head then, and was calm. Her eyes closed in contentment. Touchstone is probably safe…..I feel safe.

“Milady, your child is fine.”

Fine. See I was right.

“There is nothing to fear, for nothing is amiss here. We treat everyone with equalness, milady. Be you demon or not.” Said a smoothing girl’s voice. Lia never felt so good and welcomed in her life. Lia felt as if she were trapped in a dream like state and liked it.

“I’m Lady Fayth and if you need anything. Just call me with your mind. And I will answer but sleep and regain your energy. “

Lia did just as she said.

Lia knew she was going to die. She felt it in her blood and in her heart.

Abruptly a pretty girl in a flowing shoulderless blue dress appeared in the room and bend next Lia. The fire made shadows on the girl’s face making her look angelic her curly blonde hair flowing around her pale face, her blue eyes filled with concern.

“Don’t talk you must save your energy-“

“I am dying I know. I must tell you something. The child is special, he must be protected. The world depends on it, for he is a human child through he was born of a demon. You mustn’t let the huntress get to him. You mustn’t let her get Touchstone.”

Lia’s energy was spent and she closed her eyes for the last time.

Lady Fayth felt tears fall from her face and wepted for the boy’s mother.

A loud knock sounded at the door and Lady Fayth knew who it was. And she wasn’t ready at all. Lady Fayth ran through the small cottage to get to the baby. But there was a tall figure by it. Lady Fayth gasped and drew attention to herself. The figure turned around and she saw it was a heavily armed woman with chopped brown hair and icy blue eyes, she had a bow in her hand.

“I’ve come for the child.”

“You cant have him.”

The woman raised an eyebrow and Lady Fayth guessed this to be the huntress.”

“Oh but I will even if I have to kill you to get to him.”

Lady Fayth didn’t even see her throw the small knife that caught her in the shoulder.

“Missed, opps.”

Lady Fayth screamed in pain and waved her other arm and the huntress flew backwards and slammed against the wall.

“*bunny*.”

Lady Fayth tried to reach the baby, but was distracted by the arrow that came whistling in the air aimed at her. Lady Fayth looked at it and bursted in flames and turned to ash.

“Demoness, good cause now I can kill you without feeling guilty, you must be half because you have a human form when you use your powers.” The huntress said, jumping back up on her feet and stringing another arrow. I’m almost there thought Lady Fayth as she reached the small clutter of her best satin where she had lied the baby who was still sleeping. A arrow caught her in her leg and she went down. Lady Fayth screamed in agony. And closed her hand and opened it to reveal a fireball. She threw it at the huntress who tired to get of the way of it but it was too big and got her on her arm.

“You are a powerful half demon.But doesn’t matter, I will kill you never less. ”

Boy, she talks a lot. Lady Fayth reached her hand to the baby and a arrow hit it. Pain shot through her arm.

“MMM, wonder how long my arrows will take to kill you?”

Lady tried to block out the pain and the huntress’s voice and focused on the baby and diced it.

“NOOOO where is the baby?”

“ I diced it. And now it is time to get rid of you.”

Lady Fayth closed her eyes and made a temp shield because they took too much energy around her and concentrated all her energy on a big fire ball. Quickly she took down her shield and opened her eyes releasing it at the Huntress. Who screamed as she burned, when there was nothing left but ashes. Lady Fayth sighed and let her head fall to the ground and hummed. All the poison in her body poured out and her wounds healed. Lady Fayth diced the baby in her arms who was still sleeping and sighed. In her hands she held the savior and future protect of earth.

Lady Fayth pulled on a hooded cloak and wrapped the baby up tight and they headed off into the sunrise.
