My love/girlfriend life hasn’t gone so well. It is not because of the girls in particular but it is because of me. I don’t know what it is about but God will work it out. I was with my friend and his woman the other night and begin to think.(and write) I thought…will there ever be a poem I write about me actually being in love with a woman or will it all be dreams and wishes of me spending eternity with that certain someone? Someone I can love and they’d love me unconditionally? Will these poems go on about how I would treat her so well and she would be my cupcake or sugar momma or ‘darling angel’ and I would be her knight and shinning armor? Or will she come to me glowing in that sweet heavenly light with arms wide open and sweep me off my feet because of how beautiful she is and how powerful she worships God? Will I sweep her off her feet with my wit and strength of intelligence and woe her with my words of knowledge and make her laugh so sweet and tender of a laugh that would make joy sweep across my face? We’d talk for hours and hours on ends until we knew each inside and out. I’d know everything about her and ditto. There would be periods of the day that I would ever so cry because she wasn’t at my side and couldn’t show my love till the night or day that we meet again. If she promised me now, I’d promise her forever. She promise me her love and I’d promise her the world. A love that will last so long and be so strong that no hate can break or delay. No demon on earth can try to destroy when we bind together and pray. When everything’s not going well she will love me and stick with me. Stick it out through thick and thin. She’d run and jump into my arms the moment we caught eyes. That love when………I’ll have to finish this, when I find her?1

I was with my friend at Willie C's Cafe and he was with his g/f and I just started to think. I don't want people to feel sorry for me cuz I will find her in time but until then and after then I will keep on writing. God bless

this is really honest, love isn't something you look for, i think God bestows it on people when he's ready. you're darling angel will come in due time and when the time is right. it will be real and there won't be any doubts, if more people thought like you there wouldn't be so many break-ups and divorces. nice write.

I know exactly how you feel....I thought I'd found him...but things didn't work out between us...we are still friends but now I feel like I'll never find him....and it does hurt...but I believe every word you say.....God will find someone for me when the time is right...keep writing.....Luv Caz

everyone has probaly told ya this but that is really good, just keep ur head up and don't look for love in all the wrong places, and i know that is cheesy but sometimes it is true, but like u said, God will work it all out, just maybe not the way we expected him to. but keep up the work. I enjoy reading your stuff even if I dont feel the same.

Disturbing
Hey man I read all of the comments on your poem here and uh man I don't know how to say this but as an outside observer I would have to say that this poem is very disturbing. Very very disturbing. I mean I understand all the luv you got for god but your way up on his nuts man. No wonder you dont have a girl man, I mean its cool your not doing anything wrong just maybe tone down the whole worship thing just a little bit you make the normal act of loving god sound like a CULT. This poem disturbed me it made me sad not for you or your position in life or anything like that it made me sad because there are so many people that love GOD so much that often times it seems that their blind love for something that they hope is true something that they think they know is true something that they blindly swear exist blinds them from the realities of the lives that we live. Think about that there is a heaven there is a god you have been saved you are going there BUT you still have a life here in the realm of the living that you must take care of. You gotta love yourelf man, you gotta love yourself.

I was impressed with this write. I prolly will not be able to say anything that hasn't already been said. But I myself have struggled to let God handle things. It is certainly not easy, but with patience, hope, faith and many prayers it is possible. With God ALL things are possible. Our life is in His Hands, and personally I wouldn't want it any other way. Love will come to u. Just wait patiently and do God's will while you are single. If u want advice on this topic..read 'I Kissed Dating Goodbye' by Joshua Harris. He has someone for everyone. And you'll find her in His time... which is the right time. Not ours. This was an awesome write from the heart. I loved it. Every one wants a love like this... it's because God gave it to us in out hearts. And we can get it from the Holy Spirit. It says what we shall love like in 1 Corinthians and it tells us we can in Hebrews. Awesome write bro.

She will be submission unto your mission...which means she will support the vision that God has given you...
Wait on the Lord...I pray that He will continue to give you patience....I understand where you are cominig from...He has revealed my wife...but now is not the season for us to be together...and it gets tough waiting sometimes...especially when so many other women approach you....but obedience is better than sacrifice... -

This is really beautiful.. I don't have a friend who shares this same feeling as sweetgurl has, but I can say that I share the same feeling. I continue to tell myself that there is a guy out there and me, being a teenager, just have to wait.. i know its wierd because of my young age to be saying stuff like this, but I sometimes feel that the decisions i have made, god will not forgive and not deliever me with a happy feeling. (This is all on my own fault though) I am sure you will find Her, and when you do, it will be the happiest time in your life that will continue 'till death do you part. God bless you -
