Forgotten Lover [short]

I wasn't scared. I stayed calm. I would have been scared if Romeo was in the house, and he would be the first thing on my mind.

I threw off my covers and crept over to my window. The man was leaning by my tree at the bottom of my back garden. I stared out the window at him, while trying to figure out what to do. Should I call the police? Let the humans handle this? But then why should I? I could handle this stalker. But what if he wasn't human? What if he was another Werewolf? I should really call the police, but I just couldn't bring myself to pick up my phone and dial. So I did the most stupidest thing I could of done. I grabbed my dressing-gown and walked outside. He saw me coming. He looked nervous. I walked bravely over to him.

'Who are you and what do you want?' I asked loudly. He stopped leaning against my tree and stood up straight.

'You really don't remember me?' he asked, sounding quite hurt. I frowned.

'Should I?' I asked. I studied his face. Was this Trusion? Whoever Trusion was...

'I...we... You don't remember me?' he stuttered. I shook my head. He stepped towards me. I flared my nostrils. He wasn't a Werewolf. He was a Vampire. I couldn't tell that by a Vampire scent, but by the fake scent. Vampires, being dead, don't have a scent, so they smell of perfume or shampoo etc.

My wolf brain kicked in now. It knew I was in danger. Though a Vampire didn't have any real strength, they were pretty hard to kill. I mean, if I ripped out it's throat, it would just heal. Confusing.

The vampire stepped closer again. I made a deep noise in my throat. I was growling.

'Good dog?' he smirked. I glared at him. He knew what I was. How? Okay, maybe by the fact you growled? I was so stupid sometimes.

'How do you know me?' I asked. He slowly stuck out the back of his hand. I saw a gold ring on his finger. I had a similar ring, but I couldn't remeber when I bought it, or where it was now. Infact, I couldn't remember any of the history for that ring. One day I didn't have it, the next I did. Strange. His ring looked like a wedding ring.

'Nice, is that real gold?' I asked. He sighed.

'Recongize it?' he asked. I frowned again. I nodded slightly. He started taking it off. Then he turned it over, so I could see the inside of the ring. Engraved in it was 'Trusion & Amanda'. Amanda was my name. On the ring I have, it was engraved on it too, but I always thought it was the company laybel or something. I never really thought about it.

Did I really know this Vampire?

Please tell me what you think
