Reincarnation Chapter 4

Since November I hadn’t found anymore clues. I was anxious for when I could get my body back. I started looking things up online to find out how to do necromancy. I wanted to bring Dakotah back. Valentines day was coming up, I wanted my Raven back so badly, I miss her dearly. I miss going all over the lands with her. Going through good and bad times. I remember one of the bad times I had with my raven. Witnessing and watching my one and only true human friend, die in front of me. That day was horrible. We had been traveling to a dark land, Dakotah decided to go with us. We had ran into a village, yet did we know that there was a disease going around called invisisteria. It was called Invisisteria for a reason, it was basically invisible, you couldn’t tell you had it until 4 days before you died. We stayed at the village for a while eating, sleeping, and studying the way they lived there and so I could study the nature there. Four days before we were planning on leaving, Dakotah started getting little red dots on her back, they were really itchy but we didn’t think anything about it. They got worse with each day, until finally the day we were supposed to leave, I got up to find Dakotah still laying in the place she was when she went to bed, but she wasn’t breathing. Her heart had stopped beating. I didn’t want to believe she was dead. I didn’t even know what she had died of. I couldn’t believe it, I started crying hysterically asking the world why I had to lose my only friend besides my raven.

Later on I had found out from a villager that I would talk to, that Dakotah had died of this disease called invisisteria. I found out that there are no symptoms of it showing until 4 days before you die. I couldn’t believe that I didn’t think of anything being wrong when all those red bumps were on her back. I felt so stupid for being the cause of her death. The villager told me that I shouldn’t feel that way, that it’s a new disease and so there is no cure for it right now. I couldn’t have done anything anyways. The villager had told me that I couldn’t get the disease from touching her so if I wanted to take her body home I could. Me and raven had carried Dakotahs body home and we built our own pyramid of tranquility for her. There it was built on my property, never to be torn down.

Please tell me what you think
