I wake up clutching my chest. I feel a burning sensation from by breast bone all the way down to the end of my lungs. The pain is so intense I almost cry out, but stop myself in time. I sit up and look around. I am lying down in the back seat of a car. Not the Ferrari, but a bigger car. I look towards the front and see Aidan, Hawk, and Anora.1
Their backs are turned. It's obvious that Aidan's driving. I lie back down and close my eyes for a few moments, going over what had happened before I had passed out. Hawk had made me like her and Aidan, yet I feel no difference other than my senses that were already sensitive are picking up things that must be miles away.2
"Hawk?" I ask.3
She turns around in the front seat.4
"Oh," she replies, "you're awake."5
"Yeah," I say sitting up.6
"Good," she says, smiling. "How do you feel?"7
"Better than back in the bedroom," I reply. "So where are we?"8
"We're on our way to Mr. Kristoph's house," she replied, her smile fading almost as quickly as it had appeared.9
"Oh," I reply, falling silent. "When will we arrive?"10
"In about ten minutes," she said, turning around slowly.11
"She's ignoring me now," I think to myself. For the first time since we've met, she's ignoring what I have to say.12
I lie back until we arrive at Mr. Kristoph's house, just outside of London. 13
--------------14
"My angel has returned!" shouts Mr. Kristoph as Aidan's car approaches the house.15
"I'm no angel of yours," I mutter under my breath as we stop and get out.16
I look around. Nothing has changed much. The same old green grass on both sides of the walk way. The same old paint job on the house. Same old willow tree in the yard to the left of the front door.17
"So how are you?" asks Mr. Kristoph. "They didn't hurt you did they my darling?"18
"No they didn't," I say, "in fact, they undid the damage you've done."19
"Yes," he replies, "and I'm so sorry about that, but you did attack me."20
I am about to say something, but I glance over to Hawk and Aidan and they both shake their heads no.21
Heeding what they mean, I give no reply.22
"Well," says Mr. Kristoph, "thank you for returning her to her rightful place. You're dismissed."23
"He's talking to them like servants!" I think to myself. I make to smack him for treating my friends like that, but Hawk grabs my arm.24
"No," she whispers, "go into the house and do anything he says so he doesn't have a reason to harm you."25
I give no reply but follow Mr. Kristoph into the house.26
"She's still trying to protect me," I think to myself. "We part, and she still protects me."27
Without any emotion showing, I allow Mr. Kristoph take me to my room.28

Awesome
I went to read the next chapter and it wasnt there! *breaks down into tears* I was randomly looking at poems when I came across chapter 11 i think of this story, I read it and it captivated me enough to go through all of your authors page (which was very amusing) and then finally to hear to read it. It was a really good story, I love fantasy stuff. But where is the rest!!!! I want more!!!! But i have to say, your little duh duh dums at the end of each chapter did actaully lessen the suspense of the story. But I can't wait to read more! -
So this whole 'darling' thing is an act, right? lol
*goes off to read the next chapter*
