Dear Diary,2
Another day spent wandering the halls of school. No homework (which is a miracle, the way they load it on us kids). You know we're studying World War I in History, right?3
Well, anyway, Mr. Fronkel- you know, the one everyone thinks is so hot (although I don't see it)- he came up with yet another way to entertain the school. 4
Marching through the hallways with his camos and helmet, heads turned to follow his progress. Unfortunately, those of us who have him for a teacher realized that if he was playing soldier, then we would too. We came into class, the last period of the day, and realized there was nowhere to put our books. 5
The desks were laying on their sides, and two flags were set up, one on either side of the room. A massive pile of paper balls waited for us.6
This guy took history way too seriously.7
We ended up stacking our books on the floor near the door, and waiting for our teacher to explain. He rubbed his hands together, anticipation lighting his eyes.8
A review game. Simulating trenches. At least I never had to go over them. I didn't miss a question, mainly because I didn't have to answer many. I did get to throw paper "bullets" at those who did on the other team. THAT was fun, even if I have horrible aim. 9
Well, at least it was better than the time he sang the German anthem. In German. (WHY??)10
Oh, well, gotta go. Time for dinner.11
Signing off,12

That's why I want to be a history teacher. There will NEVER be a dull moment in my class!
It was a great write. I really liked how you described everything.
I'm sorry it's taken me so long to read your entry. Thanks for entering my contest and good luck!

lmbo! That was possibly the most hilarious thing I'd ever seen. I mean, c'mon, the history teacher finally lst it, walking around in all camo. the boots, oh yeah, very stylish, though I really think the camo hardhat topped the whole thing off. Sorry, I still think that was just the greatest thing.....
hey hey, nice one. I can't really say that you "let me see something that I could otherwise not see" or anything fun like that because I did see it, but we'll just say it brought back the memory pretty well.
Thank goodness we have Mrs.H though, I would probably end up running out of the trench, an getting hit by paper bullets is just not my idea of a great time. lol,not to mention the test following. Okay, I'll shut up now. Good job hun, for the story and actually adding.
Later,
Amanda
