Wind Samot stood alone at the base of the Dark Tower, knowing that his destiny was going to be fulfilled. He stood for a long moment, waiting for the simple wooden door on the side to creak open, just as it did in his dreams for countless millenia.
As the moments drew on, Wind drew the massive Murasame from its sheath and stared at the huge blade, taking in its beauty one final time. The sword was very distinct, as it was divided into three separate blades that formed many different weapons. The weapon itself was three blades, a katana with a jet black blade, another katana made out of pure silver, and a longsword that held the color of earth, and each was made from the flesh of Azatoth. They can fuse and become any variety of weapon, but their original form was this huge sword.
Wind sighed as he put the sword back, but then gripped the handle differently and pulled only the black katana away from the weapon. As he held it back down to his side, he heard the ancient oak creak. He looked to see and saw that the door was opening very, very slow. Then, it swung open, smashing into the Tower with enough force to break it off its hinges.
Wind payed no attention to the door, as he was more fixed on the infinite blackness beyond. As he dream foretold, a gelatinous green mass pushed its way through the rectangular door. In an effortless move, the mass pushed its way through the doorway and plopped onto the field of roses.
The mass was huge, nearly twenty stories high, but even as Wind gazed at it, it began to take shape. The goo wriggled and grew to even more immense size, quadrupling itself many times over. The mass began to take a much more solid shape as it multiplied in size.
It formed a head first, something that resembled a octopus, with a face full of tentacles. It formed arms next, with three-fingered hands tipped with deadly claws. Its torso formed next, a seemingly solid mass that appeared to be liquid at the same time.
The gel separated below the waist and formed two legs, ending with a three-toed claw on the feet. A tail sprouted from its lower back, swishing about violently before it retracted back into its body. Then, just as the tail returned, two great wings erupted from its shoulder blades, the wingspan at least twenty miles from tip to tip.
It stood still for a moment, allowing its body to solidify the rest of the way. It had also stopped growing, and now the creature was more than two hundred stories in height.
It opened its eyes, two red spheres, and made a terrible roar. Great Cthulhu had awakened.

So far, so good.
I like the detail, and especially the detail that went into the monster. The description of the tower was VERY close to what Stephen King did in Dark Tower series, if you didn't know. Bu nice visuals, and I would very much like to see more of the story!
