"What would you say if I told you that you made it to the Olympics this summer?" asked Jane with a large smile on her face. My eyes went large as I heard this.
"No way!?" I squealed. Jane nodded and gave me a great be hug that took the breath away from me.
"Congrats!" I turned back to my horse Sir Lexus and kissed him on the nose. Two years ago I had applied with him and my trainer Jane Gady for the U.S.A. Equestrian Olympics. Turned out so did about two hundred others but all in all, I had made it! Me, Lisa Burns, the girl who was known for her love of horses since the age of two was going to the 2007 Olympics!!
I quickly finished grooming Lexus and then jumped into my car and drove to my apartment which I shared with my boyfriend Shane Robertsom of four years. I opened the dppr and found him sitting on the couch watching a horse race. I came up behind him and gave me a kiss on the cheek and said in his ear in a romantic voice,
"Darling, guess what happened to me today?" Shane look up ay me with sparkles in his eyes.
"Yes, babe?" he asked.
"Well," I paused for dramatic effect.
"I made it, I'm going to the Olympics!" Shame jumped up and gave me a kiss on the lips which took me by surprise. I kissed him back gently, and gave him a hug.
"Honey, that is so great! I can't believe it. Oh man, this is just great." I smiled and kissed him once more.
"I know it's great!"
Later that night Shane took me to a romantic restaurant in town to celebrate. While we waited for our food to arrive Shane took my hand. "Lisa, I have known you for these past few years and have come to love you. I love everything about you. And," He took out a small velvet box.
"I want you to be my wife. Lisa Burns will you marry me?" I looked into his eyes socked of what just happened. I smiled and yelled out
"Yes! I will marry you Shane Robertson!" He kissed my hand and then my lips. I blushed as couples looked at us as we got our food. When we got home that night I called my mother and tol her what happened, both about the Olympics and the proposal.
That spring Shane and I got married. The next year was hard. Shane and I went through the process of me going away for the Olympics. Also we found out that soon after I was with child! Yes, I was going to have a baby in the late winter of 2008. Shane and I were so happy we could not wait to tell everyone! Also I won the 2007 Olympics that year for the United States.

Great!
This is amazing, girl! I'm proud of you and I take it that you were suppose to start a story with a sentence. I love it!! -
This is pretty good. It's a little short, but it's good! I enjoyed reading it and you're a very talented writer... You really should seperate your paragraphs though, and every time someone talks it's a new line:
"What would you say if I told you that you made it to the Olympics this summer?" asked Jane with a large smile on her face. My eyes went large as I heard this.
"No way!?" I squealed.
like that instead of:
What would you say if I told you that you made it to the Olympics this summer?" asked Jane with a large smile on her face. My eyes went large as I heard this. "No way!?" I squealed.
that... It was good! -
