Charmed: CROATON (Chapter 1)

"Piper, tell your sisters that they just can't leave when there's an emergency." Chris (The Charmed Ones' new whitelighter). Phoebe and Paige had left to go to do something. Phoebe had to go back to work at The Bay Mirror as an advice columnist and Paige just received a new tempt job. Paige's new tempt job was to work for some place that sells paintings, it was called The Painting Factory. Paige decided to take this job because the boss told her that she would be getting payed the big bucks. She could use the money to help around with the house. 1

"Chris, they have lives and that includes them having a job. I just can't take it away from them. It wouldn't be fair for them." Piper defended herself and her sisters in some way. It was the least she could do since the three of them got into a heated argument before. 2

Chris threw his arms up in the air and sighed. He knew this was going to happen all along. Chris knew that The Charmed Ones were going to want to try to live normal lives, but he thought that they should live together for the sake of trying to keep Piper's son Wyatt from turning evil. That's why Chris came from the future. So he could stop Wyatt from turning evil and practically taking over San Fransisco or all of California. He wasn't going to let that happen. He told himself that he would do whatever it took. 3

"You know you what? I'm going to go get Paige and Phoebe back while you look through the Book of Shadows and try to find the demon that attacked earlier." Chris stated to Piper. 4

"Chris-5

Chris orbed out of the room in little white, sparkled particles before Piper could anything else to Chris except for his name. 'I give up with him'. Piper thought. 6

"Come to me
The powers are the strongest at night
And weak at daytime
I cast this spell to summon thee
The powerful Croaton, I summon thee" Dixie chanted in her dark lair. 7

Dixie, an evil witch who has been raised evil, cast the spell to summon the all powerful Croaton. Croaton is supposed to be the most powerful supernatural creature that has ever been brought into this universe. He was noted to be strong, fast, fearless, and intimidating. Dixie thought that she could bring him back so together they can defeat the Charmed Ones and steal their powers. 8

Croaton suddenly appeared in a wind of gray and blue mist in the middle of candles that were lit and in a circle. He looked victorious and very masculine. He turned to face the small Dixie. 9

"You." he commanded, pointing a finger with talons (he had talons instead of fingernails). "You are you and why did you dare to wake me from slumber." 10

Dixie pushed her wavy blond hair out of her face and introduced herself to him. She even bowed down to him.11

"My lord, I am Dixie. I was heard that you could help me." she said.12

"What do you want and what's in it for me?" Croaton asked her. Dixie then became really nervous. 13

"I need you help to destroy the Charmed Ones. I believe they are too powerful to fight them all by myself, so I figured you could help me. They killed my parents because they were evil withes! I want them dead! I'll give you the gift of all their powers if you help me." she stated. 14

Croaton thought for a moment. Here was this girl asking her for his help. It seemed to her that she was desperate. Finally, he decided to help her. 15

"Alright, I'll help you, but you better keep your end of the deal or I'll turn you to ash, am I clear?" he gave in with a threatening tone. Dixie nodded. 16

"Yes. Anything you say."17
