Halfway though so no title.

An uncommonly good-looking woman on a large, wheeled platform, moved along the road at walking pace. Behind the platform trailed metal cables of different lengths, and each had a strong electromagnet activated at the end, dragging along bikes, toys and various rubbish. Some people had been caught by the metal of their boots, or wallet chains, and were also walking along behind.

One man attatched close behind was trying to take an upskirt photo with his phone camera, but it didn't seem to be working, because he had a frustrated expression every time he dropped his arm to look at the picture better. Towards the back someone was being pulled along the ground by one foot, and though his arms around his head at first glance seemed to be for protection, when he rolled onto his back he seemed only to be hiding his face from everybody. Some people in the centre were turned towards each other, holding their attatched sections and engaged in debate. I wanted to join in, but didn't want to get caught either.

A passerby was looking at the procession as she walked in my direction, and I asked her, "Why isn't someone doing something about this?" but all she said was, "I don't know," smiling quizzically.

I stepped out onto the road and shouted, "What is all this?", and the central group stopped and looked over at me, without speaking. I moved closer, calling out again, but while I wasn't watching the cables I tripped over one, and sprung off with my other foot to regain balance. My glasses fell off, and by the time I turned around again they had of course been picked up by a magnet. "Goddamn it," I laughed, looking at the group, and they saw me grinning and laughed themselves. I picked the end up and walked the whole way over.

By the time I got there, a tall, well built man was holding the unattatched end of a cable in his hand triumphantly. The group realised this and congratulated him, one man with a piercing voice saying "Well there you go!" The freed man said, "It's always obvious in the end," laughing. Dropping his hand down heavily on my shoulder he said, "Keep that in mind," and wished everyone good luck. After he exited, the group turned to me.

I had a giant analysis all thought out...
    ... But it's pretty stupid.
I will wait until this story is finished before I decide to pretend to know exactly what this is supposd to mean.
However, it is *awfully* intruiging, and I hope that you have the drive to finish this soon...
