One day, a kitten came across a purple, gleaming string being held in the beak of a swallow up in a tree. The swallow playfully swooshed the string in circles, amazing the kitten until pure delight. The kitten waited and crouched behind a bush, wiggling her tail around the air. She lunged. The swallow fluttered to a new tree. The trill of an attack consumed her and she didn’t notice that it had moved. The kitten had fallen flat on her face. The bird squawked in laughter as the kitten pouted. Angrily and vengeful, the kitten climbed up the tree and scared the swallow horribly. It dropped the string and the kitten quickly jumped off of the tree and snapped up the string. Joyfully, the kitten pranced away.
