First Judgement ( Part I and II )

God doubted his own existence and wanted to see himself, so he decided to create water to reflect his image. He created water and looked upon it, but he did not see anything. He said to water, ‘’Water, I’ve created you for the purpose of reflecting my image, don’t you know your purpose?’’ Water said it needs dust to reflect his image. Then he created dust and threw it into water. He looked at the water and did not see anything, so he said, ‘’Dust, I’ve created you for the purpose of combining with water and reflect my image, don’t you know your purpose? The dust said it’s not to be seen without light. So God created light and looked at the water, he still didn’t see anything, then he said, ‘’Light, I have created you for the purpose of shining upon water and dust to reflect my image, don’t you know your purpose? The light said, it does not exist without darkness. God then created darkness in order to see himself. The light glared in darkness and shined upon the water and dust. God looked over the water only to see the light seems more glorious and brighter than his own image. He got furious and punished the water, the dust, the light and darkness. He took light’s tongue, water’s taste, dust’s ears and darkness’s eyes. Then he abandoned them in eternity. Universe was created.

The water, the dust, the light and the darkness blamed each other for the dreadful punishment. Something precious has been taken away from each and one of them, and they have to exist in eternity with never being complete again.

The only way for these four to be complete was to sacrifice their freedom and condemn themselves to each other, and freeing themselves will always mean being incomplete in eternal punishment. So they did, God’s punishment bound the four together and started to exist but only together.

They never heard from God again, but God’s vague reflection was left with them. Men were created from god’s own image.

Men have reminded the universe of the first judgement; universe has reminded men their misplacement. Water drowned, dust trembled and crushed, light burnt and darkness swallowed men for centuries. Men stroked back; burnt the forests, tainted the oceans, and crushed the light and the darkness. So the unspoken but deafening battle kept on going between the abandoned brothers.

On men’s side every achievement against universe came with guilt in this endless hatred. Certainty sacrificed for peace, peace sacrificed for pride, pride sacrificed for happiness, and happiness sacrificed for certainty all over again. They fought with each other at times just to avoid the reality of loneliness, and every victory’s prize was again loneliness. Some got tired and choose the denial which they named ‘’love, hope and faith’’ at times, some had illusionary developments by letting all their knowledge go and replace them with others which named ‘’realizations’’. They’ve always had to choose between denial, destruction or self-destruction. That was the life for humans on earth.

On universe’s side things were more silent, blind, senseless and dull. Unlike men they learnt to be patient. Their captivation for each other was prudently accepted, but never understood. Their desire for freedom turned itself into a purpose; their envy for mortality turned itself into havoc against men.

And finally on the God’s side things were calm but tragic. God’s doubt left itself to a cruel certainty. He suffered silently as he kept the secret for himself in eternity. On the day of First Judgement, he knew what he created to understand himself has revealed the truth thought itself. Demonstrated how he was weak, what he was worth, and how he was false. He knew on the day of First Judgement, through the his own creation; he was directed to recognize himself by the True God...

this is interesting. i think it gets a little confusing though, you could try explaining things, particuarly the last paragraph, a little clearer. also dont rush it so much. but its an interesting start, good work

An interesting story by itself, and an intriguing idea. However, it breaks a few rules in my contest. It's far too short, honestly, as I've had a length specification. I personally believe that this is too little of space to develop a good story. And, it doesn't really fit into the topic either.

I suppose you're right. I was thinking of a protagonist to move the story but I couldn't find one. It's dificult to develop as the character's actions are limited as you said. Well, Hope you enjoyed it anyway, thanks for you useful critism, maybe next time.
      cheers
