Thunder cracked and the clouds broke to envelope the open green savannah in an electromagnetic storm. The grass waved like many hairs, the trees groaned and the wildlife scampered to hide from the so sudden unleashing of intensity.1
The sky once dazzled with ocean blue, now stricken of colour to cast an awfully, sickening bleak blackness. 2
There, in the centre of it all stood two people. One young girl and her elderly father stood at least fifty yards from each other. 3
His dull blue eyes tinged with black, glared straight into her bright aluminous green eyes, so intensely his own knees became weak beneath the weight of his intent.4
She stood firm, calm and proud yet her mind recovered the insecurities of what she was about to do. 5
He spoke;6
“You’re nothing and are to be imprisoned by your rhymes-7
He spat8
You make me sick to my core”9
To his unpleasant surprise a grin spread across her tattered lips as she threw her head back and laughed in an insanely consumed way. Fear lashed his face, with her whip-like laugh that sounded deep yet so uncontrollable.10
She chuckled in rhymes and riddles;11
“When the remarkable turns bizarre12
Reason turns rancid13
The uninformed must improve14
Their deficit or die…15
You’re stubborn humanity shines bright16
As fear enslaves your impure heart17
If you believe your intentions right18
Where, in life, shall we start?”19
His throat purred with anger, yet his brow leaked with fear as he opened his mouth to retort in intellectuals. However, his mind screamed at him to retreat, for his understanding of her statement was extremely poor. Did she mean let’s start now? Did she wish to confuse him?20
He, unheedingly, snapped an ignorant reply;21
“If you dare to step inside my mind22
You will be honoured to find23
That I am better than you24
In matters of getting through,25
In fact these petty rhymes you clause26
Must have some silly cause?”27
He felt he’d outdone himself proud. His eyes widened with every word, he had concentrated so hard on the rhyming retort that he had forgotten to keep his cool.28
He had not even broken her wild grin. 29
Under a giggle she muttered something he could not quite hear and again…began to rhyme. 30
“Oh so stupid, father you are quite ill31
Of the intelligence you claim your own32
I’ve spoken once and broken your will33
With less than a giblet of what I’ve known”34
He trembled, whimpered and lost his bold stance.35
“You forget over father, that you disgust me36
You’ve wreaked my life with your silly greed37
So now I challenge, to finally be free38
Of your every selfish, brittle and evil deed”39
She frowned, her eyes deepening in colour as his faded.40
The air became thicker and the intensity matched the humidity.41
Lightning struck very close to her…not even a flinch surprised her. Rocks around began to lift, crumble and circulate. The air became thick with what seemed to be smoke-which was in fact the power that released itself from the mysterious child. 42
An in depth scream happened upon his ears from her tattered lips, as the intensity, the smoke, humidity and storm broke worse. The rocks increased in size, as they ripped themselves from the forgiving earth. 43
“For many years, I have suffered under you44
But today everything is now unleashed45
It’s simple and justice what I have to do 46
As for now the rage has been released47
So I take this gift to use against sloth48
With this (until now) hidden wrath”49
In less than a blink of an eye she stood strong, bulging with rage and boiling with hatred, less than a hair away from him. He went to strike her with his fist of injustice, but was quickly reformed into his place, as she struck him in the chest with her knee of muscle…50
Some say the man fell to his knees and pleaded to appease. Others say he swallowed his pride and ran from her. But the story goes, that he prayed for forgiveness and only in return, did he receive the justice that had been in store for him since his own brittle young age. 51
I’ve lost myself52
And this power emerged53
My face trembled rage54
Then my soul felt urged.55
To ignore me and my age56
Because I was cold inside57
I realized my power58
My dignity had lied,59
I WAS a powerful flower60
No matter what they said61
My parents put me down62
As far as I was dead63
But unexpected,64
I returned the frown65
Fought against them66
Until I was renown67
They are now scared68
Of all the things I’ve bared69
The anger that corrupts me70
And all the rage they see.71
So now I’m left alone72
Ascending to depths unknown73
Destroying these drones74
Who felt they did now own75
This Super Saijin that I am76
Filled with energy none surpassed77
They expected me a lamb78
But I guess I’ m now classed79
As a fucking Psychotic 80
Author notes
I wrote this because a few people have asked where I got the inspiration for the poem at the end. The fact is I got it from the dream I had-which is the above story.
