It’s was murky evening; the sun was a sliver on the horizon, and the wind had slowly eased to a slight breeze. A thin layer of fog was beginning to accumulate as I stood beneath a giant oak. I paced the small clearing, our secret meeting place. I became impatient. I took out my watch checking and rechecking the time. She was late, as always.
I walked over and sat down leaning my back against the rough bark of the oak tree. I closed my eyes, removing my sleek black fedora from my head. I rested there waiting for her to arrive, I tried to ease my thoughts, but my mind just wouldn’t stop. The current events kept swirling a never ending strand. How could this have happened! I had been so careful, so reserved.
I opened my eyes and looked up into the sky. The stars were peeking out through a thin layer of clouds. The moonlight shone on the fog, creating a mystifying spectacle. How long was I to wait? What was detaining her from this crucial symposium?
Replacing my fedora on my head I stood up preparing to leave. Then all at once she was there, gliding through the mist. Her plain white dress flowing, accentuating her splendid figure, her almond eyes staring into my soul and her fair blond locks shaping her symmetrical face, all my cares are were lost to me. My transgressions disappear like the stars behind the clouds; all was forgiven, for that instant.
She was beside me, wrapping her seductive arms around me, resting her head of luscious golden locks on my shoulder. We stood like this for what seemed like hours. She unlocked herself from my arms, taking my hands in her tender grasp. She looked up into my eyes. I saw the pain reflected in them, the pain I caused, we caused. I looked away. I could not stand to see the hurt in those beautiful eyes. Oh what had I done! I wanted to hold her and comfort her. I wanted to take away all of her pain, our pain. What can I say? This wasn’t supposed to happen.
“Please say something.” She whispered to me from her delicate lips. I turned away from her and walked across the clearing rubbing my temples with my finger tips. Raising her voice she said, “Don’t do this to me. You can’t do this to me. Not now!”
I look over my shoulder to where she was standing, her arms wrapped around her middle. A single tear rolled down her cheek. She slowly kneeled, then sat, her hands resting in her lap. “Not now.” She whispered. I watched as that single tear fell and stained her simple white dress, I watched, I watched.

This was very descriptive, and the ending was good.
However, I was a bit confused as to the general plot, and there was some grammar missing. This story has definite potential.
THanks for entering, good luck. -
